Cabin Devotion

May 30, 2018/Cabin Devotion (1st night)

Title: “PANALONG PANALANGIN”

Scripture Reading: Ephesians 6:14-20
A sincere note to God: “Hi Lord, namiss Nyo po ba ako? Miss you too Lord!
Sobrang gaan ng pakiramdam ko dahil palagi kitang kasama. I pray Lord na
palagi kitang mapasaya din. I want you to laugh, to be happy and cheer You up
more. Kahit naging mabaho, madumi, pinagpawisan ako kanina, gustung gusto
Nyo pa din po akong hagkan at yakapin. Thank you so much Lord. Smile ka
naman Lord. Amen.”

Ikaw, masaya ka ba kapag nakakapa-pray ka? Hmp? Natutuwa naman

ba kaya si Lord pag nagpe-pray ka? Bakit ba nagiging pauli-ulit lang ang stilo ng
pananalangin ko?

Ayon sa Ephesians 6:18-20, “Na magsipanalangin kayo sa Espiritu ng lahat

ng panalangin at daing sa buong panahon, at mangagpuyat sa buong
katiyagaan at daing na patungkol sa lahat ng mga banal..,” isa lang ang iniuutos
ng verse na ito, ang mag-pray.

Bakit kailangang manalangin kung may binanggit ng armor of faith?

At hindi lang daw ito basta panalangin. Pray With all prayer and
supplication - with all kinds of prayer; prayer in the closet, the family, the social
meeting, the great assembly; prayer at the usual hours, prayer when we are
specially tempted, and when we feel just like praying, prayer in the form of
supplication for ourselves, and in the form of intercession others.

Yes, prayer is the greatest weapon and a spiritual armor. Prayer makes the
Christian armor strong.
 Ang tanong, paano ko gagawing creative ang pananalangin ko?

Minsan sa buhay Kristiano, hindi maiwasang maging paulit-ulit ang

panalangin. Kung paanong naiiba ang pamamaraan ng Dios sa pagsagot sa
ating mga panalangin, ganun din naman dapat creative ang pakikipag-usap
natin sa Kanya. Panalo ang panalangin kung napapangiti natin ang Panginoon.
Sa sobrang aliw ko makipag-usap kay Lord, naisipan kong gumawa ng Alphabet
prayer.

My Alphabet Prayer

Lord, You always hear me say Amen, completely listening to all my prayers.
You are the One who made this evening BEAUTIFUL. This makes me CLOSER to You,
allowing me to dream of reaching the DOOR TO HEAVEN. EVERYWHERE you
FAITHFULLY look after me. You GENEROUSLY provided me a HIDING PLACE through
your INFINITE presence. The JOY of being your child KEEPS me in LOVE with You.
Truly, my MAKER is a NEVER-FAILING God. He is the ONLY who is worthy of all
PRAISES. Continue to QUIET my heart and RESTORE my soul. Though You seem to
be SILENT at times, I will never get tired of listening to You, my True, Ultimate,
Victorious, and Wise Lord. You’ve got all the X-factor that I YEARN for a glimpse
of a Zealous God. Again, hear my Amen.

Challenge: Ilan na ba ang pinagkakaabalahang media of communication

ang ginagamit ng kabataan? Facebook, Cellphone, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Ang
dami diba? Pero nasubukan mo na bang ibahagi ang mga creative prayers mo?
Find ways how make Jesus smile through your personal prayer.

June 1, 2018/Cabin Devotion (2nd night)

Title: E di WOW!

Scripture Reading: 2 Timothy 2:13

Isn’t it amazing! Wonderful! Great to have a relationship with God. Pak na

pak! Sabi nga.. iwan ka man ng boyfriend o girlfriend o best friend o classmate
mo, si Lord hindi ka iiwan sa ere. Hindi ka ipagpapalit kaninuman. At makalimot
ka man sa Kanya, magkasala ka man, mahal ka pa din Nya. E di WOW! Bakit?
Kasi sabi sa 2 Timothy 2:13, “At kung tayo ma’y hindi tapat, si Kristo ay tapat pa
rin sapagkat ang sa Kanya ay hindi Niya itatakwil.”
 San ka pa? Sa Diyos, sigurado ka!

Ang halimbawa dito ay si Jonah, God’s goodness and mercy followed him
under the sea. Si Daniel sa lion’s den at si John during their exile from their own
land, binuksan ang langit para sa kanya. E di wow! Yan ang kasiguruhan na sa
lahat ng pagkakataon God is always there for us, our Savior and Best Friend.

Saang aspeto ng buhay mo nadama o napatunayan ang kabutihan ng

Panginoon?

Prayer declaration: God is god of relationship. Yung WOW na relationship.

Yung walang katulad. Amen
