TECHNICAL PROPOSAL FOR GARBAGE WALK IN CHILLER

This proposal would include supply and installation of 1 Chiller .Wall, ceiling & floor are to
be constructed using Pre-fabricated PUF insulated panels. Freon-based split type refrigeration
systems would be provided for refrigerating rooms. Any civil & structural works including
finished floor, secondary roofing etc. shall be in the scope of customer / other agencies.
General Specifications
Room enclosures for the above mentioned rooms are proposed to be constructed using
modular panels of sandwich type. Panels are manufactured with CFC-free blowing agent.
Wall & ceiling are proposed to be constructed using Pre-Fabricated Rigid Polyurethane Foam
(RPUF) insulated panels. Panels shall be laminated with PCGI sheet outside and SS 304
Sheet inside for non exposed walls and ceiling and SS 304 Sheet on both sides for exposed
walls as per Specification / Layout. The PCGI lamination color shall be RAL 9002 (off
white). The wall to wall & ceiling to ceiling shall have profiled edges and the joinery shall be
with tongue-and-groove arrangement. Chiller room shall be provided with 80 mm thick
panels as mentioned in the BOQ. The wall to ceiling joinery shall be held using flashing from
inside & outside. All the resulting panel joinery shall be applied with silicon sealant.
The floor shall be constructed using PUF slabs with polythene sheet as vapor barrier. Floor
insulation has not been considered for ante rooms. PCC / other tiles in ante room shall be in
the scope of customer.
The doors for chiller room shall be Face-mounted – Step - swing type with thickness &
lamination same as wall panels. The door frame (and leaf in case of freezer rooms) shall be
provided with heaters for avoiding condensation as a resultant of moist air touching the cold
surface. The door shall be provided with locks from outside. The door shall be provided with
internal safety release mechanism so that people when accidentally locked inside can come
out even when the door is locked from outside. An electrical safety buzzer switch shall also
be provided with illumination near the door, so that the trapped person can call for a help.
Doors are provided with strip curtain to minimize infiltration . Chiller door is provided with
view port and SS Kick Plate. Doors shall have Fermod make Locks and Hinges.
The refrigeration system shall be split type of suitable capacity with Air Cooled Condensing
Units located outside the rooms and the Evaporator Units located inside the rooms with
interconnecting copper piping & cabling works. The condensing unit shall house suitable
capacity Hermetic Hermetic compressor, condenser coil with fans & interconnecting piping
with necessary valves fittings & accessories. Electrical starter panel for the full unit shall be
mounted inside the condensing unit. Necessary power will be terminated by client at each
condensing unit.

The evaporator cabin shall be constructed using SS casing. All the refrigerant tubes shall be
with copper construction & Al fins. The evaporator shall be provided with suitable fin
spacing to allow sufficient frost build up to enable longer operation hrs between defrost.
Defrost shall be settable time-based auto-off cycle type for chiller .
The interconnecting copper piping shall be generously designed to minimize the pressure
drop in the system. The suction line shall be insulated with Nitryl rubber to avoid sweating. A
PVC/GI drain pipe with necessary U trap shall be provided to take out the condensate water
outside the cold rooms.
Internal Lighting of the rooms shall be provided with vapor proof fittings along with
necessary interconnecting cabling works & the light switch located conveniently near the
door.
The compressor on/off based on the load shall be controlled by a Micro processor based
temperature indicator-cum-controller which shall also control the defrost cycle, on/off of
fans, fault indications etc, thereby controlling the entire refrigeration system.

EXCLUSIONS
1. Safe unloading & storage of the panels, equipments & erection material.
2. Any civil & structural works, including floor finish inside ante rooms, secondary
roofing, etc.
3. Platform and weather protection for the condensing units and trays for piping and
cabling.
4. Incoming power factor corrected power to the main electrical panel
5. Condensate Drain connection to drain point. We have considered piping to the nearest
floor level.
6. Single phase 415 V, 50 Hz, 3 ph power supply for installation activity.
7. Adequate lighting arrangement for installation activities.
8. Provision of lights other than inside the rooms mentioned in the design.
9. Inter connecting piping & cabling has been calculated based on the assumption as
mentioned in the design. Additional distance will be charged on RMT basis .
10. Primary member for suspension of air cooling units, if required.
11. Any other items other than specified in our bill of quantities and scope of work.

Commercial Terms & Conditions
1. Scope
The price offer made by RINAC is based on the technical specification furnished by the
Purchaser subject to the technical offer, bill of quantities and such other technical information
furnished by RINAC.
2. Drawings
In the event of an order, RINAC shall submit a detailed drawing for the approval of the
Purchaser and the approved drawings thereafter shall form the basis for execution.
3. Inspection
The price offer of RINAC is based on inspection and final testing at site after installation,
unless otherwise specified elsewhere by RINAC. The offer does not include factory testing /
inspection, any independent laboratory testing and such other inspection / testing of any kind.
The final testing shall however be based on mutually agreed parameters and methods.
4. Price basis
The price quoted by RINAC is based on all the input credits that are applicable as per the
laws of the land. All terminal duties, taxes and other Government levies, as applicable shall
be paid extra by the Purchaser to RINAC. In the event of any concessional taxes and duties
availed by the Purchaser through statutory forms or Government notifications, RINAC shall
agree for such deduction subject to applicability and reversal of input credit as may be
required.
5. Taxes & Duties
The price quoted by RINAC is based on current level of GST and other levies as applicable.
Should there be any statutory variation of taxes and duties, including fresh levies at the time
of execution, the same shall be charged extra and shall become payable by the Purchaser to
RINAC.
6. Lien on property
RINAC shall hold the lien on all the materials supplied to the Purchaser until the full payment
is made to RINAC as per the terms of the contract.
7. Execution period

The time frame for supply and erection shall be considered from the date of technically and
commercially clear order. Further, the commitment on execution period shall be subject to
standard force majeure condition.
8. Force majeure condition
The Purchaser shall grant extension of execution period automatically without any damages
to RINAC in the event of force majeure condition which shall include but not restricted to
natural disasters like earth quakes, floods, hurricanes, riots, wars, war like situation, other
major social upheavals, Government restrictions, strikes, lock-outs and other acts of God
which does not fall under the normal control of RINAC.
9. Terms of payment
Unless otherwise specifically agreed by RINAC in writing,
All the supplies of RINAC shall be covered under the following terms of payment:
a. 50% of the basic contract value as advance along with the order
b. 50% of the basic contract value + 100% of taxes, duties, freight etc. against readiness
of material or documents through bank
The payment against erection shall be made as below:
a. 30% of the basic contract value as advance along with the order
b. 60% of the basic contract value + 100% of taxes and duties against pro-rata
completion of erection activity
c. 10% of the basic contract value against commissioning and handing over.
Any statutory deduction, if made, shall be supported through a TDS Certificate within 30
days of such deduction. No other deduction shall be made for any other reason whatsoever.
10. Bonus / Liquidated damages
Neither party shall be liable for any bonus / liquidated damages for supplies earlier or latter
than the contractual period, unless otherwise specifically agreed by RINAC.
11. RINAC shall not furnish any guarantees, indemnity bond or such other document unless
otherwise specifically agreed in writing.

12. Warranty
RINAC shall offer a standard warranty of 12 months from the date of commissioning or 15
months from the date of invoice whichever is earlier against manufacturing defects,
installation deficiencies and such other reasons attributable to RINAC. This warranty
however shall not cover in the event of damage caused by accident, abuse, mis use and used
for application different to those to which it is intended. Further, warranty shall remain
invalid in the event of the product / system attended by any persons or agencies not
authorized by RINAC. Any modification, alterations etc., if made, to the original equipment,
shall render the warranty invalid.
13. Validity
Unless otherwise specifically confirmed in writing by RINAC, the price offer shall remain
valid for acceptance by the Purchaser for a period of 30 days from the date of offer beyond
which it is subject to confirmation in writing by RINAC.
14. Dispute / resolution
In the unlikely event of any unresolved dispute, the same shall be settled in accordance with
the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 subject to all amendments till date.
15. Power & Water supply
Unless otherwise agreed by RINAC in writing, the power and water supply connections shall
be obtained by the Purchaser for both construction and for final testing.
16. Approval from statutory authorities
All approval from statutory authorities like Electricity Dept, Water & Sewerage Dept,
Pollution Control Board, Forest Dept. etc as may be required shall be obtained by the
Purchaser and RINAC shall render all assistance in terms of drawings, technical data etc.
which falls under their purview.
17. Variation in quantities
All variation in quantities, post award of the contract during drawing approval or at later
stage shall be suitably price corrected in accordance with the unit rates already available in
the contract or in the quotation submitted by RINAC. If there are any items required for
execution but not quoted, the same shall be price adjusted through a revised quote to be
furnished by RINAC.
