1. To study the characteristics of a JFET in CS configuration and determine its parameters.


2. To study the following characteristics of an operational amplifier:
i) Input bias current
ii) Input offset voltage
iii) Common mode rejection ratio (CMRR)
iv) Slew rate

3. To study the following characteristics of an operational amplifier as:


i) Inverting amplifier
ii) Non-inverting amplifier
iii) Integrator
iv) Differentiator

4. To construct a phase shift oscillator and determine its frequency of oscillation.

5. To design and construct a monostable multivibrator and determine its pulse width.

6. Study the characteristics of a SCR and use it as a power controller.
7. Use Operational amplifier to construct (a) Differentiator &(b) Integrator.

A1. Construct and study the characteristics of the following Active Filters –

(i) Low-pass filter, (ii) High-pass filter, (iii) Band-pass filter and (iv) Notch/Band-stop filter.

A2. Construct and study the following circuits using NAND gates only.

(i) S-R flip-flop, J-K master-slave flip-flop, D-type flip-flop and T-type flip-flop
(ii) Oscillator of different frequecies
(iii) Monostable multi-vibrator.

A3. Using operational amplifier, construct and study the characteristics of -

(i) Summer
(ii) Sine wave generator
(iii) Square-wave generator
(iv) High-precision rectifier

A4. Using 555-timer, construct and study - (i) Astable multi-vibrator, (ii) Monostable multi-vibrator, (iii) Bistable
multi-vibrator and (iv) Schmitt-trigger circuit.

A5. Study the electrical characteristics of a solar cell and find its efficiency.

A6. Experiment on Geophysics.

B1. Study A/D and D/A converter IC characteristics.

B2. Solve the given arithmetic and logical problems by programming an 8085 microprocessor.

(N.B. Refer to the given list of problems)

B3. Construct the following counters:

(i) An asynchronous counter, (ii) A Modulo-n counter, (iii) A synchronous counter

(N.B. values for (ii) and (iii) will be given by Lab Instructors)

B4. Interface with 8085 microprocessor –

(i) 4 binary switches as input devices,

(ii) 4-8 LEDs as output devices respectively,

(iii) A 7-segment display as an output device

B5. Design and implement a (8-bit) Up/Down-counter using a microcontroller.

B6. Study ASK and FSK modulation and demodulation.

VHDL and FPGA Projects

Simulate the following circuits using VHDL and implement onto an FPGA.
