2.2 BACK FILLING AND COMPACTION

2.2.1 Backfilling arround foundations and substructure element

3 CONCRETE WORKS
Prior to any substructure work, the contractor shall check
and coordinate the design of the reinforced concrete
foundations and related structures, and shall submit shop
drawings and calculations for consultant's review and
approval.

3.1 SUBSTRUCTURE

Providing and laying plain cement concrete having

cylindrical compressive strength 140 Kg/cm2 at 28 days,
using sulphate resisting cement type V, conforming to
3.1.1 ASTM C-150 including formwork, curing test, etc.,
complete as per drawings and specification.

3.1.2 Reinforced Concrete

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete of
cylindrical compressive strength 280 Kg/cm2 at 28 days
conforming to ASTM C-155, for services shall be
coordinated as per supplier details etc., complete as per
specifications and drawings. Along with standard water
proofing membranes including formwork, curing test, etc.,
complete as per drawings and specification.

Including but not limited to Concrete

Encasements/Culverts, Meter Chambers, Valve Box,
