CIRCULAR

ONLINE REGISTRATIONS OF INSTITUTIONAL ELECTIVE (8TH SEMESTER) FOR THE

ACADEMIC YEAR 2017-18.

Course Registration open on 10.01.2018 from 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM

The course registration for the 8th semester elective is facilitated through BMSCE e-governance.
Please note & follow the guidelines given below:

 The list of electives consists of Course Title, Course Code, Offering Department and
Name of the Course Instructor offering the Course & Maximum number of registrations
for a course;
 All courses are of 3 Credits;
 Only one Elective from the list to be chosen by a Student; NO CHANGE OF
ELECTIVES WILL BE ENTERTAINED.

 It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that he/she does not select a
th
course as an institutional elective (8 semester), if he/she has already studied
a course with significant similar content with similar/different course
code/title in the lower semesters.

 The students shall seek guidance from the proctor before selecting the
institute elective course.

 The allotment is automatic (system generated) and done by the computer based on
First Come First Serve basis.
 A minimum of 30 Student registrations are mandated to float a Course.
 The maximum registration per a course is 60 per class/faculty.
 In the event of less number of registrations (that is less than 30), the course
will not be floated/offered and those students will be required to choose any one of
the remaining courses through online, on 13.01.2018 (10.00 AM to 1.00 PM).
 The process of registration is a centralized one. If any student fails to register on the
above said dates, she/he will have to register the same in the next regular semester
based on its availability; No queries/requests will be entertained in the department,
e- governance cell or in the office of Dean (Aca.).

Strict adherence to this regulation is mandated.

All the students are required to note & cooperate. The HODs are requested to give wide
publicity to this and ensure that their respective students follow and reap the benefit.
