Carolien Gaarthuis
During the seminar she explained the different kinds of leadership, which are servant, authentic,
resident and resonant.
Those who are deeply aware of how they think and behave. They are perceived by others as being
aware of themselves and others and of the context in which they operate authentic leaders are
confident, hopeful, optimistic, resilient and of high moral character.
Do your life, make your mistakes, but reflect on them in order to receive feedback
I make mistakes, so what, that’s what you do, but you should learn from your mistakes.
Move forward.
One who is not greedy is secure. He has time to think deeply. His understanding of himself is
complete.

Resonant leadership:
Resonance: the sound which is produced by an object when it vibrates at the same rate at the sound
waves from another object.
I have chosen this topic because I am quite interested in spiritual things. I experience leaders
sometimes as quite busy, chaotic, etcetera … This thing I also feel by myself. However, these things
reduce your working capacities. That’s why I am interested in this topic.
The yoga exercises that we practiced during the seminar where a on how we should act when we are
stressed.
I was quite curious about how I could be mindful as a leader. During the session itself there were
practical examples illustrated about what you can do when you lost control. Firstly it seemed a bit
ridiculous to do this exercises, but at the end I can imagine that it really works. I will definitely use
this practises in the future.
What is a millennial?
Millennials never sit in the front.

Millennials and their influence on the rapid market

Re-introduction of ‘sharing
Millennials as consumers:
Millennials as consumers:
It is not because you like something, that you will buy it!
You make it very tough for businesses!
You liked me, so why don’t you buy it?
What do I have to do so you make that next step, and make the purpose?
- Open dialogue
- Focusing on the consumer
- Eco friendliness
- Doing fair business
- Being active in the community
- Contributing to charitable causes
I have chosen this topic because I am super to gain some knowledge in our generation. My parents
and grandparents often tell me that we are super different than them. By going to this seminar I
wanted to get more insight in how we differ from other generations, and how we actually react on
the fast market changes.

Before the seminar I was curious about how we are different than previous generations.
