E.1.1 Problem, Cause & Remedy for AHU system

Causes
Insufficient Voltage
Main SFU has tripped / not
switched on.
Filters choked
Cooling coil choked.
Motor appears to rotate
slowly.
Motor rotating in reversed
direction.
Less air flow in room.
Low thermostat setting.
Compressor is not starting.
Low gas in AC system
Resistance to outdoor
condensing unit.
Fresh air damper is open
more than the set point.
Zero setting is disturbed.
Air leakage from Door &
windows.
Reduced air flow in room.
Fresh air damper setting
disturbed.

Remedy
Check connection for any
loose joints
Switch on switch or put a
new fuse.
Clean the filters as per
filter cleaning.
Clean coil as per coil
cleaning procedure.
Rewind the motor or
replace bearing of motor.
Reverse phase connection
at Motor terminal.
Check the points as per
Sr. no.2
Set the thermostat at set
point.
Check contactor &
electrical accessories.
Refer to AC mechanic.
Refer to AC mechanic.
Clear the obstruction if
any.
Reset the damper as per
set point.
Set the Zero setting.
Seal the leakages.
Check the points as per
Sr. no.2.
Reset the damper as per
set point.
