She also had the opportuniy fo teach Music K2 (Festival Rhythm poce, apart ofthe Spring show) and Loch taught evry subject with enthusiasm and passion. The students wee noted and engaged in ther learing and Jexcited to be in class, She used large group, small group and individual instruction throughout essone, wie renrporeng bran and moveren reks and lechroloy whenever posable, a [Leah's in-depth planning and research was evident in every lesson taught. In a combined class of 19 students, she could manipulate between the muli-levoled abies of the students with ease. This enabled her to keep a posite learning In each lesson, She was prepared, in advance, for several upcoming lessons, allowing her fexsbilty in timing and |content when student interest or outside factors (counsellors, OT, PT, SLP) encouraged changes to lessons. Leah linked her lessons together with review of previous lessons as well as teasers oF Insights into upooming lessons to maintain lengagement. Leah implemented many strategies that the OT, PT, SLP's gave for students as class “skils” so to not isolate the individual and their strugoles. The strategies included visual schedules, brain breaks, movement breaks and technology. |Leah's board work was always clear and legble. Her voice projection and classroom movement helped increase student [participation while her enthusiasm and energy contributed to achievement and classroort work which resutted in high Jaccountabilly given to each student for his or her actions. She had to look at actives and hotels. She ern acted and booked al facies and work with our principal fr use of school funds. Once again Leah is joining her bands for this tip after her practicum has conctuded. Leah's outstanding personality and work ethic have allowed her to build a rapport withthe students she taught. She offered p time. She also performed withthe school band and jazz band alongside help to her students at noon, recess and during pre Ine students. This is a confidence builder for many of our students as they have seen an adult jearn alongside them, A point to mention about Leah's practicum was that when she discovered in December, that she was in Tey, she came in 0 Met the students, and to find out what she could help with Ieading up into the Christmas break. She became part of our \Crracunas concert and was inthe staff skit This in liself shows the dedication Leah has to her school. She was a Tiley Tiger before she officially became a Tiley Tiger! Student instruction promoted learning and used posiive reinforcement fr students. Leah's fesdback was specific to the task and prompt future ton to continue student earning. Leah varied her teaching style with whole group, small group and individual student ecioschon techniques. Leah paced the lesson with purposeful questions to guide student learning.
