It could have been and it could still be

If we justify the acts of today by the established principles of yesterday,

We’ll go round and round to a tireless pursuit of a fruitless journey

The growth of yesterday would be rendered inutile

And the course towards our progress would be rendered stagnant.

If we are to continuously take the course of our ancestors

What own stories are left to be shared to our successors?

It would be a life lived upon an owner’s manual

Our very own lives, lived the way it was ought to be lived by someone far from our recognition

Rationales we continuously believe, not knowing the pit of its origin

We have always ascertained how it all began

But have not figured out what is for us to begin

We limit the capacity of tomorrow the limitations of yesterday

If man could only be courageous to escape the anarchy he himself has set

He shall fly upon the blessings of democracy his nation itself promised

If man could strive to ask when things become unreasonable

Justice might set fire upon the irrational deeds within the roots of darkness

The warrior is the man in the mirror ,he is not a damsel in distress

Good products flourished from active participation

Wars are not won by sitting pretty in wonder

Risks are for us to take, justified by courage, hope blazed with a great vision for tomorrow
