* Calculations in this tool assume no chlorine demand in the receiving water. Some substances in the water may consume part of the chlorine. Take a chlorine residual
measurement after 30 minutes. If the residual is below your target residual, calculate the amount needed to replace what was consumed. Take a residual measurement after
another thirty minutes. Repeat as needed.
