Hi Mark,
Hope you have been having a good weekend. In case you have not had time to read the abstract, the version I sent you
does not cite the G&P paper but I will include it after I receive your next round of feedback.
Thanks,
Simi

Simi,
I re-wrote the introduc on and I think that it a more direct path the what we did and why we did it than what you
had previously composed.
As you will see, I had many comments and cri cisms about much of the rest of the abstract. Some of the errors are
repeats. Some are new.

Hi Simi…Please let everyone know that I am running about 15 minutes behind. See you soon a er a coffee stop an
DD.
Please review. I deleted and replaced quite a bit of content that you had added. I am happy with the content but there
the reference list and the numbers in the text that refer to references need to be fixed. After you fix the references and
unless you make any changes to the current text, I think it will be ready to go. Let me know if you’d like me to look it
over once more. Either way, send me a version of the final, submitted version.

Hi Mark,
I made a few changes to the body of the text and fixed the references.
The changes I made to the text were to make sure that "1/f characteristics" is used consistently instead of white and pink
noise. I have removed all mentions of white and pink noise. I also removed the Lipsitz reference.
Can you take a look and let me know if you are in agreement?
Thanks,

Hi Simi...it sounds pretty straight forward to me. I'd say it's time to put this bad boy to bed. Go ahead and
submit. Mark
