5. My name is Nona and I am a midwife. My job is to help mothers when they have a
baby. I work in a small hospital in Flores, East Nusa Tenggara. Everyday I always
get up at 4.00 am because I start work at 6.00 am. I usually have breakfast in
the canteen at 9.00 am and then look after mothers and babies. After lunch at
1.00 pm, I do training for midwifes. Because of the training from the Australian
government, now I know more about helping mothers and babies in emergency
situations. I really love my job. I finish work at 2.00 pm and then I do some
exercise. I sometimes play badminton with my friends. I usually get home at 5.00
pm and then I relax. I never watch TV but I like to read novels. I have dinner at
7.00 pm. I go to bed at 9.00 pm.
