Praxis Test Result

Exam Requirements

Proceeding forward seeking a degree in Education, potential teachers should

understanding that in seeking a bachelor degree, they must meet the requirements given

by the state of Nevada, starting with the Praxis Core test. An individual seeking

employment in the Education field this must receive 156 in Reading , 162 in Writing ,

and a 150 Math on the Praxis test. These tests will illustrate one's knowledge on paper

and reveal all stored information in these subjects.

Exam Preparation.

In all truth, my personal preparation for the Praxis was little to none. The necessary steps

in order to receive high scores for this test did not occur when studying. As a student

seeking a degree in education my scores did not reflect the knowledge that I essentially

do know. The things that I personally know and have learned about education did not

reflect in my score. I did not do the practice test questions or the EST questions which

might have had an impact on the score I received. I wanted to see if my stored knowledge

would prevail in my taking of the test. My preparation for this test was not as thorough as

it should have been which reflected in my scores.

Exam Results
 My practice score resulted in a 34% in Math, 41% in Reading , and a 35%

Writing. My test scores set an example as to how not preparing can lead to failing results.

Although I do not believe that these scores depict my actual knowledge on education as a

whole. I do have a clear understanding now how important preparation is and will take

serious consideration in preparing. My test score was extremely low and not even close to

the passing score required by the state of Nevada. Preparation and basic test taking skills

had a major impact on the I scores received.

Future Exam Preparation

The Praxis Core exam revealed the amount of preparation I must put before iI

take the exam. something they participated in. For the future exam preparation I will

take full advantage of the help that is being offered though CSN. This would be starting

with registering in the Praxis Core review course at CSN. Also a tutoring and reviewing

the practice test questions, and essentially anything I can put my hands on. I plan on

passing with a high score on my next try. The second time around will because I will be

better prepared. I must put steps into action for a great result and take advantage of help

that is being offered by CSN.
