Before starting ensure all packaging material is removed. Remove top cover of the machine We
have placed packaging material in between tank and top cover. This material needs to be
removed to ease leveling of machine.

Machine Major Parts.

1. KTEC UNIT.
2. SUCTION PIPE.
3. Float.
4. Discharge Pipe.
5. Pump
6. Priming Plug.

Operating Instructions:

1. Insert suction pipe installed with float in coolant tank.

2. Loosen the three Nuts on the float so that pump is not sucking any air. We should
not hear sound of air suction that will be the best position to operate.

Tighten the nuts on all the three balls.

Loosen the Nuts so that it will not suck air.

3. Connect coolant drain pipe to outlet and put in coolant tank.

4. Make Sure Float is in Horizontal Position. Loosen the float Hose clamp and tilt the
float if required. (This can be seen when float is positioned in coolant tank)

5. Switch ON KTEC
6. KTEC will start.

Mode of Operation.

1. Levelling Method.
In this method only oil is collected in the auxiliary tank. Adjust the flow with
valve such that only oil will get separated in auxiliary tank. If still fluid is going in
the auxiliary tank raise the height of the tank from front side using adjusting
bolts by rotating them clockwise.
Lift the tank using this bolts

Further reduce the flow of coolant and ensure no tramp oil enters the drain tank.
Adjust flow with the flow control valve.

2. Flood Coolant Method.

This method is suitable if KTEC position is changed on daily basis.
Pump Priming Method.

1. Remove the front cover.

2. Remove the plug on the motor by rotating it in anti clock wise direction.
3. Fill the casing with water.
4. Place the plug and tighten it.
5. Ensure suction pipe is immersed in tank.
6. Start the unit.

If Impeller is Jam use this method free the impeller.

If Impeller is jam remove three bolts. Free up the impeller by rotating it with hand and Install the
casing back.
Priming will be needed after as all the coolant will be drained from the casing. Follow priming
Procedure.
