Hi Leah:

No records as of yet, but I am still working on it. I am attempting to obtain the file her at our office as after
speaking with two previous workers, I was informed that this matter has been investigated on two separate
occasions with no findings. In addition, I was informed by a previous worker that there were no findings in
California and everything regarding these allegations was dropped. I will continue to work and let you know.

Maggie

Hello Maggie;

Any word on those hospital reports? I know it will be difficult to get them. I've tried. Please tell me
something.
I am absolutely beside myself and don't want to ambush you by telephone.

Please tell me something.

Thank you,

Leah Arnold

Hi Maggie:

You have to know I am waiting with baited breath and considering requesting permission from
HHSA to view the files; I was holding his hand during that appointment and my FOIA request was
over 8 months ago.

Re : CR# 11-03623

Mr. Arnold ,

Detective Sieckman reviewed your letter requesting to be taken off the Department of
Justice Child Abuse Index, as well as LMPD case number 11-03623. After considering
the facts of the case, as well as your reasons for removal, we have decided not to
remove your name from the Child Abuse Index. Removal from the index requires that
this case be closed as unfounded, which it was not. Unfounded means the evidence
shows a crime did not occur. However, in this case there was at least some reasonable
evidence to indicate that a crime may have occurred. As such, this case cannot be ruled
unfounded and consequently cannot be removed from the DOJ Child Abuse Index.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at 619-667-7512 .

Sincerely,

Lieutenant f-Jicholass

RE: Noah's Hospital Report & Status on CPS investigation

Can we make an appointment for a (brief) teleconference so that I can find out what the agency is
doing, and how I might find out who to speak with regarding the investigation they are planning.

If, by some means, CPS has not spoken with me and made yet another determination the children
are safe then I am going to be very dissatisfied and will need to know who to approach next.

Please let me know what you can and thank you for genuinely being concerned for my family,
Maggie; I sensed you didn't have the "Bystander effect" syndrome which usually comes across as
apathy for my children's plight. Thank you for all you have done and your patience.
