============================//==================================

First cut the following lenghts in the Square Tubing

1 X 33 CM For the Guide
2 X 32.5 CM For the Frame
2 X 27.7 CM For the Frame
1 X 30 CM For the Brackets Support
1 X 13.5 CM For the Brackets Support

Then Cut the following lenghts in the 1" Flat Bar

1 X 17CM ( This will become the Green Bracket)

2 X 5.0 CM ( These will go on the guide)
1 X 10.5 CM ( This will become the Blue Bracket)
1 X 12.5 CM ( This will become part of the frame to hold the Jig Saw)
1 X 2.6 CM ( This will become part of the frame to hold the Jig Saw)

The above parts are color coded to aid you in finding where they go.

You have all the pieces now.

Before you start fabricating please watch these videos and familiarize yourself with the attachment
you're about to build:

and

Once you get started, also watch this video on how I made the more intricate parts of this attachment :

This attachment should last you a life time, so take your time and build it well

Let's get fabricating.

FABRICATING FLAT BARS:

1-Take the 10.5 Flat Bar and dril the holes as shown in the below image (Please watch the videos)

Then weld them together as shown above.

2- Take the 17 cm long piece and drill the holes as shown in the image below.
Then cut where indicated on the above image and weld as shown in the image below

Also weld one 8 MM Nut over the top hole, as shown in the above image.
3- Please watch the video Instructions-3 listed above before proceding to the next step.

Take the 12.5 CM and the other 2.6 CM pieces and drill the holes as shown in image below.

NOTE: the distance between the holes in the 12.5 CM Flat Bar depends on the distance of the holes on
the bottom of your Jig Saw. For Makita 4324 this distance is 4.5 CM.
4- You have 2 pieces of 5 CM flat bar left. They are to be used for the Guide. drill a 6 MM hole in one
of them as in image below

And weld the 6 MM nut over the hole. Now use the 33 CM Square Tubing and the 2 flat bars and weld
together the Guide.

Note the notch in the guide also. Cut that out using an Angle Grinder.

You are now ready to fabricate the Frame.

FABRICATING THE FRAME:

1-Referring to image below weld all the 6 pieces of the SQUARE TUBINGS ONLY. The Flat Bars will
be welded in place later on.

Almost there!

Mounting your Jig Saw.

Take the bottom plate off of your Jig Saw. For Makita 4324 it's a black steel plate that is being held
with 4 flat head philips screws(you will not be using this plate or the screws any more). This will free
up the holes you need to mount your Jig Saw to the frame.

Now remove the Aluminum Base Plate of the Jig Saw.

Lay the frame you have just built flat on the table. You will need to slide the Bearing Support Arm
under the table to make the attachment sit flat.

Place the Aluminium Base Plate inside the frame. Use the measurements in Figure-7 above to guide
you in placing the Aluminium Base Plate.

Align the 12.5 CM Flat Bar with Aluminium Base Plate and mark it for drilling the 2 holes. Do the
same with the smaller 2.6 CM Flat Bar.

At this time mark the 12.5 cm Flat Bar for the notch you have to cut out for the Jig Saw Blade (Figure-
7)

Also Mark the frame where you need to cut a notch in it to let the back of the Jig Saw sit. See Figure-5

Grind out the notch in the frame so your Jig Saw can sit there without catching the frame.

Drill the 3 holes where you marked the Flat Bars( 4 mm Diameter).

Now attach the Flat Bars to the Aluminium Base Plate with the 4 mm Allen Head screws. Place back
inside the frame and tack weld the Flat Bars to the frame.

Remove the Aluminium Base Plate and fully weld the Flat Bars to the frame.

Put the Aluminium Base Plate back in the frame, put the 4 mm screws in and tighten.

Slide the Sheet Metal under the frame, align it, and mark where you need to cut a hole for the Blade.

Remove and cut the hole in the Sheet Metal for the blade.

Re-assemble your Jig Saw. Put the Aluminum Base Plate back on, but not the black bottom plate.

Attach the Jig Saw to the frame using 3 X 4 mm Allen Head screws.

Flip the frame over. Attach the Sheet Metal with 8 small round head Sheet Metal Screws.
Assemble the BEARINGS BRACKET and the BRACKET as shown in the below image.
Attach to the Bracket color coded Green as in the image below

Install your Jig Saw blade.

Congratlations, You are done!

You can now mount your new attachment to a vice by putting the frame in a vice and tightening it
down. As shown below.

Please be safe and wear goggles and ear muffs when working.

And once again THANK YOU!
