Fungsional teks adalah tulisan yang di maksudkan untuk membantu pembaca
menyelesaikan tugas sehari-hari.Contoh teks fungsional mungkin termasuk
resep untuk memasak;petunjuk ke suatu lokasi,memberitahukan memo dari
perubahan alamat perusahaan,atau waktu pembukaan sebuah toko,jadwal
acara dan lokasi selama seminar,direktori alamat,nomor telepon atau alamat
e-mail,petunjuk sebuah tes,menu dari restoran,pamlet untuk memberitahu
publik dari pebukaan,penutupan toko,atau penyitaan.
Teks fungsional digunakan untuk informasi sehari-hari.Hal ini disebut
fngsioanl karena membantu anda melakukan sesuatu dalam kehidupan sehari-
hari anda.

Announcement adalah pernyataan (pemberitahuan resmi) dalam bentuk lisan
atau tulisan yang berisi sesuatu untuk diketahui oleh banyak orang.
