3: THEREFORE, IT IS ESSENTIAL TO INITIATE AND EVALUATE ICT INITIATIVES BY


CONSIDERING MOE'S EXPERTISE AND RESOURCES.
 ICT play an important role to high level education and teaching.
•ESTABLISH A TECHNICAL IMPLEMENTATION UNIT (TIU) IN
EDUCATION.
•SET UP A SPECIALIZED UNIT TO WORK OUT AT THE FEDERAL LEVEL technical
& SUPPORT THE PROVINCIAL DEPARTMENT.
•THE PURPOSE OF THE TIU WILL BE TO SEARCHED THE
INTEGRATION OF ICT EDUCATION & BUILDING INFRASTRUCTURE.
•THE TIU WILL DEVELOP ALL QUALITIES OF POLICY MAKES
PLANNERS & ADMINISTRATORS AT NATIONAL, PROVINCIAL,
DISTRICT & SCHOOL LEVELS.
•THE TIU WILL ALSO LIAISE WITH TEACHER TRAINING
INSTITUTES TO OVERSEE THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NICT AND
MONITORING OF EDUCATION THROUGH THE NATIONAL
(EDUCATION MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM- EMIS)

•FORM A COUNCIL TO ASSIST THE NATION’S EFFORT TO LEVERAGE
TECHNOLOGY FOR IMPROVING EDUCATION

TIU encourage thinking outside to learn outside
the context which should be connected to ICT. Private
and Public sectors helps using tools which are cost
effective in ICT. TIU provides all hardware and
software for ICT.
 Build technical support capacity :
The TIU will help the Moe , Provincial department and schools to develop
sufficient expertise.
TIU provide expertise to these institutions( School).
TIU will create a national training centre for the develop the skills and
confidence.
 Liaise with teacher training institutes to integrate ICT in their course work:
TIU Build a partnership with teacher training institute.
It facilitates the teacher to use ICT in the class room and add ICT in
their curriculum .

Assist Ministries and schools to use Educational Management formation
system
ICT helps schools to collect data of the students performance .
Data collection help Educational entities to accumulate evidence, reflect on
this evidence make assessments and begin to make and form decision about
school improvement.

COLLECTIVE CASE STUDY OF SIX ASIAN COUNTRIES:
