ELECTION
Our election took place in
December. Both the Arts Club
and the Teatro Club gathered
the high school students and
held up the annual officer
election of each club.

ART FAIR
In our first event at our
Christmas party, we sold
different merchandises
and held up a small
seminar about calligraphy
and basic sketching which
was hosted by two
students from the Grade
10-Eintein. Our booth was
located at Room 402.

At our school's
Valentine's Day
celebration, we sold
several merchandises
again and also took few
commissions at our booth
located at the fourth
floor's hallway.

To achieve our objectives,
we have build an Art
Corner located at our
campus' library.

The Arts Club, with the

help of our principal, Mam
Rhieza Umandal, placed
printouts and coloring
materials on the Art
Corner.

This aims to improve the
creativity of the class. Art Envelope

THIS IS JUST
ARTS CLUB'S
SECOND YEAR
and we aimed onto
having a successful one.
The objective of the Arts
club is to help students
increase their confidence
in their skills in arts.
We had our elections in the
month of December. The
president immediately started
in planning for our upcoming
activities. For our annual
Christmas Party, our club
decided to have an Art Fair
which includes selling
merchandise and conducting
seminars. The club, without any
funds initially, had to use the
officers' own money as capital
for the booth in order to gain
profit from it and use it for
future projects and activities.
The officers and members went
to shop for the cheapest as
possible materials that we
could use for making our own
merchandise.
The arts club assigned the
four artists in Grade 10 to
draw characters and people
and make calligraphy writings.
They willingly approved for
the request and whole
heartedly made artworks for
helping Arts club achieve its
goal. We altogether
decorated the classroom that
we will use for the activity
with the materials we
purchased and produced
decorations as wise as
possible.
During the Christmas Party,
we assigned people to take
charge in the store area and
seminar area. Some of the
officers and members joined
the seminar conducted by the
two artists from Grade 10.
The booth ended successfully.
The money earned was given
as a contribution for buying
Science High School's own
water dispenser In January.
We made our first project
which is the Art Corner
located at the library, the
officers and members helped
each other in developing this.
With the help of our school
OIC, we managed to get a
table, space, and coloring
materials. We enhanced its
appearance through
decorations that we reused
from the Christmas Party
event. Selected artists, again,
willingly made artworks as
our originals and some of the
coloring pages were from the
internet.
They are all free for students
and teachers who would like to
take their stress out through
coloring and the ones who would
like to practice and enjoy.

Our next and last activity took

place in February. We held a
booth called heART afFAIR in
Valentines day. We only sold
original, old and new
merchandise. We reused some of
the unsold stickers and
keychains. We also reused the
materials we used in making
those merchandise. We also sold
calligraphy pens individually for
those who doesn't want to buy a
whole set from malls. We
accepted commissions as part of
our merchandise.
The expenses were taken
away from the money we
earned and what was left
was for Arts club's school
year project. We
conducted our last
meeting and gave our
farewells, updates and
recommendations to
future Arts club officers.
Our last project for the
school year is the
Creative Classroom in
which we will provide
coloring materials and
other supplies related to
arts.
