Bethany has a summer job of mowing people’s lawns. Mr. Van pays her 8.56
dollars for mowing his lawn. Miss Cantrall pays her 2.38 dollars less than Mr.
Van for mowing her lawn because her lawn is smaller. Mrs. Smith pays her
1.49 dollars less than Miss Cantrall for mowing her lawn. She can only mow
one lawn per day because her mower is very old.
If she mows Mr. Van’s lawn, she does not have to mow it for another three
days.
If she mows Miss Cantrall’s lawn, she does not have to mow it for another day.
