Minimum System Requirements

Installation Instructions
1. Make sure the Rockwell Software is already installed on the
computer.
2. Place diskette 1 in the A: (or B:) drive.
3. Click on Start and select Run.
4. Type A:\setup (or B:\setup) and select OK.
5. Follow the directions.
6. If using ControlNet with RSNetworx 2.0 or later, install the
EDS files from the last disk using the RSNetworx/tools/EDS
wizard.
Operating Instructions
1. Verify the network communication is configured using your
Rockwell Software.
2. Start RSLogix and open your project
3. In the RSLogix IO Configuration add the 1701 monitors to the
flex adapter in the appropriate slots.
4. To start the 1701 configuration software double click on the
BN1701 module to be configured.
5. Configure the monitor by selecting monitor type, full scale range
etc… Click Apply, and then OK to send to processor. If you are
online with RSLogix5 you can select the Monitor Values tab to
observe the monitor proportional values and status.
