In essence, on one hand when the card acts as a credit card with a preapproved loan amount, it also acts as
a debit card, allowing ATM withdrawals.
Here is a quick look at how the Mudra Card looks like. This is just the approved design by DFS, Gol:
The Mudra Card will work with RuPay platform and can be used at PoS or Point of Sales. Thus the card will
allow users to:
Withdraw cash from ATMs
Swipe the card at PoS.
Can be used as a credit card to avail the overdraft facility.
As of now, only a few banks have managed to jump onto the bandwagon of Mudra Card and it is expected
that more and more banks will be joining in quickly. As of now the following banks have come up with Mudra

Government have clarified that women SC ST and OBC Category would be preferred while giving loans
under this scheme. However there is no reservation as such even the criteria of preference has also been
not disclosed. We are waiting to consolidate the data which may prove this. You will have to fill this
information while filling Mudra Loan form.
Mudra Loan Eligibility Criteria
This loan is only for small businessmen. There is no exact criteria as such. But one thing is for sure you wont
get loan if you have a high turnover. One more thing this loan is not for educational purpose, you cannot get
this loan for buying a house. You can get a vehicle loan for buying commercial vehicle but not personal. As
such all person above 18 years age can apply for Mudra Loan.

If your income is less than taxable income than filing ITR is not mandatory. Thus, You can avail then loan
under MUDRA scheme without ITR if your income is less than taxable slab i.e. Rs 250,000/ per annum.

Of course you must lodge a FIR against fraud cases like this.
Under Mudra Yojna bank cannot charge to clear your loan, although they may ask you to deposit 5000 INR
to open a fresh current account in their branch.

Dear Neetu,
We all hear that Banks are agrressively disbursing loan under PM Mudra Yojna & all banks are trying hard
to make the scheme seccessful, But I am sorry to say that general public is not getting any benefits under
this scheme. I personally know unlimited number of small business persons & Businesswomen who have
approached different banks for loan under MUDRA, but failed to get a single person who has finally got any
loan.
I don’t know if there is lack of commitment from Govt side or on Bank’s part But ultimately the needy small
business persons are not getting any benefits, that”s for sure.
Lets hope that The Govt takes some strict measures to adress the problem

Banks are the best judge for giving you a loan. You should have some kind of business credentials while
taking a 10 lakh loan. You should have a good credit history plus your current account should have some
good transactions.

But the bank managers are telling something different . Then you should take steps. If any Bank manager
asks the papaer which is not mentioned in the advertisement then we general people will be harrased.
Moreover they are telling that it is not possible for us to give loans without the papers what we have asked

me to provide two guarantee. but i have none person like his who have an account in same branch with

none of the bank is entertaining and none of the bank is ready to give Mudra loan. they suggest to take mortgage loan
or else for 5 lacs loan they need 6 lacs FD with them.. how stupid employees if any startup had 6 lacs for FD why they
will approach bank for 5 lacs loan… bank should get the fact right. After have all documents, like partnership deed,
company pan card, shop act license, only waiting for opening current account as we had decided to open with a bank
who will provide us a Mudra loan. ICICI says they dont have authority to give mudra loan despite of showing them ist of
bank authorise to give Mudra loan. IDBI is busy in convincing for Mortgage loan or Loan against FD or Insurance
Policy. I have many such stories of different banks.. After all this effort what i feel mudra loan is issued to only who has
good contact with bank manager or a person who already has existing business account with banks, or only for start
ups who has political influence or any of the family member in government offices nothing for a common men.
Make in India seems only a slogan now or only for govt officials kids & relatives… once again in one more scheme
common men gets big zero….

I have just now started business and wanted some loan around 23 lac to grow it.
As you have mentioned that this MUDRA scheme under KISHOR is for “Funds in the range of Rs 50,000 and Rs 5
lakh. This section of entrepreneurs would belong to either those who have already started their business and want
additional funds to mobile the business or those who simply require this much of money to start up their businesses.”
So i contacted to the nearest SBI branch and asked them about it then they told me that without ITR filed i cannot apply
for the loan.
To file an ITR business must be atleast 1 year old, then how can you say that it is for STARTUPS. I can even provide
you the details of branch. Also in others branches i contacted some isisted to open account with them some told me
they don’t know about it and some straightway told me to go to the branch where i have my account. This is really
cheating.

Pls ensure your mudra loan scheme is working properly, many banks deny by saying it’s a bullshit thrown by our PM n
the banks r not interested in any such loans,I personally visited banks like BOB Hdfc no one is even aware of our
mudra loan,if u want I can send u the videos of various branch managers denying for mudra loan.

We are into pharma trading and ours is pvt ltd co. operating for last 4 years , need working capital tried under mudra
kishore yojna, visited all banks (sbi/kvb/allahabad/canara/andhra) none of the managers shown interest atleast
looking into our papers / documents, simply rejected stating the reason that they will give only for their existing
customers or asking collateral. If so, why so much publicity by govt as it is collateral free. The response from bank
managers was very very poor, atleast they should look into the application and should take the call whether to accept
or reject.
can you guide us on this ???

I am an Electrical Engineer and a ISOLead Auditor, with 26 years industrial engineering experience.
I have a provenprojectplan to establish an internationallevel Bakery (at par with international quality standards).
personally, I have developed a design for main equipment of the bakery (1300 degree C – temprature controlled
oven) and I am sure that we can make/manufacture this main equipment Indigenously. ( I have done this for “Morning
bakery”, which has 35 outlets at present in Indonesia)
The market price of the designed Oven would be too high to purchase ( @ 2.5 lacs Rs).
The land requirement is @ 1000 sq.ft.
Furniture+other electrical accessories would be @ 2 lac rs.
In this matter I would like to know whom&how to approach for financial assistance (for land & machinary) and thus the
realization of this project.
** In initial stage, this porject would creat an regular employment oppertunity for 1012 persons.
