Fajr is between the very beginning of dawn

and sunrise. It starts when the first light of
dawn becomes visible.

This marks the start time of fasting.

Fardh (Obligatory): 2 Raka'as

Sunnah Muakkadah (Emphasized Sunnah):

Before Fajr: 2 Raka'as
After Fajr: None
Shurooq is the time of sunrise, the time when the
upper limb of the sun just starts to appear above
the horizon. This marks the end time for Fajr prayer.

Dhuhr is between the declining of the sun

and Asr.

Sunnah Muakkadah (Emphasized Sunnah):

Before Dhuhr: 4 Raka'as
After Dhuhr: 2 Raka'as
Asr is immediately after the last time limit of
Dhuhr, between the middle of the afternoon

shadow of an object is twice its height.
