say I'll start.

The start date of the history of the United States of America is a subject of debate among
historians. The oldest textbooks begin with the arrival of Christopher Columbus on October 12,
1492 and emphasize the European background of the colonization of the Americas, or begin
around the 1600s and emphasize the American frontier. In recent decades, American schools
and universities have moved back in time to include more information from the colonial period
and much more from the prehistory of Native Americans.

(Translator Edrei) today is the United States for thousands of years before the European
colonizers began to arrive, especially from England, after the 1600s. The Spaniards built small
settlements in Florida and the Southwest, and the French throughout of the Mississippi River
and the Gulf Coast. In the 1770s, thirteen British colonies contained two and a half million
people along the Atlantic coast east of the Appalachians. After the end of the French and
Indian wars in the 1760s, the British government imposed a series of new taxes, rejecting the
settlers' argument that any new taxes should be approved by them. Fiscal resistance,
especially the Boston Tea Party, led to punitive laws by Parliament, designed to end self-
government in Massachusetts. American patriots adhered to a new political ideology called
republicanism that emphasized civic duty, virtue and opposition to corruption, fantasy luxuries
and aristocracy.

The armed conflict began in the year 1775 when the patriots expelled the royal officers from
each colony and met at mass meetings and conventions. In 1776, the Second Continental
Congress declared that there was a new independent nation, the United States of America, not
just a collection of disparate colonies. With the large-scale military and financial support of
France and Spain and the military leadership of General George Washington, the American
patriots won the revolutionary war. The peace treaty of 1783 gave the new nation the land
east of the Mississippi River. Government

(Translator Edrei) Central established by articles of the Confederation proved to be ineffective

in providing stability, since it had no authority to collect taxes and did not have an executive
officer. The Congress convened a convention to meet secretly in Philadelphia in 1787. It wrote
a new Constitution, which was adopted in 1789. In 1791, a charter of rights was added to
guarantee inalienable rights. With Washington as the first president and Alexander Hamilton
as its main political and financial adviser, a strong central government was created. When
Thomas Jefferson became president he bought the territory of Louisiana from France, doubling
the size of the United States. A second and last war with Britain was fought in 1812. After a
peaceful start by the settlers, wars against the French to the north forced the creation of
colonial army corps, one of the first expressions of national identity. Later, and encouraged by
the ideas of the French encyclopaedists, came the uprisings such as the Tea Party in the port of
Boston (1773). The repressive measures of the English government caused the beginning of
the War of Independence. The colonists formed an army of militiamen who were put under
the command of George Washington, who had problems equipping his men with weapons and
ammunition, in addition to which he did not have a fleet to fight to the one of the British
empire, reason why he requested helps France, a country that was just emerging from the
Seven Years' War and that agreed to help the British colonies in their emancipation.

or, the federal territory expanded to the Pacific. Population growth was rapid, reaching 7.2
million in 1810, 32 million in 1860, 76 million in 1900, 132 million in 1940 and 321 million in
2015. Economic growth in terms of global GDP was even faster. However, compared to the
European powers, the nation's military strength was relatively limited in peacetime before
1940. The expansion was driven by a search for low-cost land for peasants and slave owners.
The expansion of slavery was increasingly controversial and fueled political and constitutional
battles, which were resolved through compromises. Slavery was abolished in all states north of
the Mason-Dixon line in 1804, but the South continued to benefit from the institution,
producing exports of high-value cotton to feed the growing demand in Europe. The election

now I will continue with the policy. Let's start United States is a republic, presidential and
federal. Your government has limited powers listed in the Constitution of the United States.
His form of government is known as presidential democracy because there is a president. The
election of the president is indirect through compromisarios or grand electors. The powers of
the president reach not only the head of the State, but also the power Guión Ti TfLocutor
3Diego (Translator Jostin) executive and the capacity of some decisions of the legislative
power. There are three levels of government: the federal level, the state level, and the local or
municipal level. The leaders of these territorial administrations are elected by voters by
universal suffrage or appointed by other elected officials. Almost all trades are decided by a
plurality of votes for a candidate. The candidates win the elections, not the political parties,
whose influence and organization is less than in other democratic systems such as those in
Europe. All Americans have the right to vote starting at age 18. There are limits on the right to
vote for those who are in prison for committing crimes that carry the restriction of the vote as
accessory punishment; in some states penal and penitentiary law restricts the right to vote
even though the sentence has been served and the residents of the dependencies and the
federal district are represented only by a congressional delegate who does not vote. To
exercise the right to vote must be registered in a registry of voters. The Constitution of the
United States, of September 17, 1787 with its 7 articles and its 27 subsequent amendments,
defines that the United States is a Republic with a representative and federal system with
three separate, defined powers, which are balanced among themselves and administered in its
executive branch by a president elected for a period of 4 years with a possible re-election for a
single term. The president has the powers of head of state and government , besides being
Guion Ti TfLocutor 3Diego (Translator Jostin) the commander in chief of the Army. It is also the
head of the executive branch that is vested in him and that exercises by himself and with the
vice president and the members of the Cabinet, the heads of the executive departments,
which are 15: State, Treasury, Defense, Justice, National Security, Interior , Agriculture,
Commerce, Labor, Health and Social Services, Education, Housing and Urban Development,
Transportation, Energy and Veterans Affairs. Announcer 2Héctor (Translator Abid) With this
that has already been said you can know a little more about the United States of America, well
then I will tell you about the geography of said country. Well the surface of the continental
United States is approximately 7 700,000 km². Alaska, which is separated from the continental
United States by Canada, is the largest state in the country, with 1 500 000 km². Hawaii,
occupies an archipelago located in the central Pacific, southwest of North America, which
covers just over 16 000 km².92 After Russia and Canada, is the third or fourth largest country in
the world by total area (land and water), ranked just above or below China. The list varies
depending on whether the disputed territories between China and India are considered and
how the total size of the United States is calculated: The World Factbook of the CIA considers 9
833 517 km², 4 the United Nations Statistics Division United calculates 9 629 091 km², 93 and
the Encyclopedia Britannica stipulates 9 522 055 km².94 Including only the surface of the
earth, the United States is third in size behind Russia and China, just ahead of Canada.95.
Script Ti TfLocutor 2Héctor (Abid Translator) The national territory has multiple landforms and
geographical features. As you move inland, theCoastal nura of the Atlantic coast gives rise to
the deciduous forest and the Piedmont plateau. The Appalachians separate the east coast
from the Great Lakes of the Midwest prairies. The Mississippi-Missouri River, the fourth
longest river system in the world, runs north to south through the center of the country. The
flat and fertile prairie of the Great Plains extends to the west, until it is interrupted by a
highland region in the southeast. The Rocky Mountains, on the western edge of the Great
Plains, cross the entire country from north to south, reaching altitudes above 4300 meters
above sea level in Colorado. Further to the west is the Great Basin and the deserts, such as the
Mojave Desert, Sonora and Chihuahua. The mountains of the Sierra Nevada and the Cordillera
de las Cascadas are near the Pacific coast. With its 6194 masl, Mount McKinley in Alaska is the
highest point in the country and the entire continent. Active volcanoes are common
throughout Alaska and the Aleutian Islands, and Hawai'i consists of only volcanic islands. The
supervolcano located below the Yellowstone National Park in the Rocky Mountains is the
largest volcanic form on the continent.

The Thirteen Colonies were a group of British colonies on the east coast of North
Americafounded in the 17th and 18th centuries that declared independence in 1776 and formed
the United States of America. The Thirteen Colonies had very similar political, constitutional,
and legal systems and were dominated by Protestant English-speakers. They were part
of Britain's possessions in the New World, which also included colonies in Canada and the
Caribbean, as well as East and West Florida.
Between 1625 and 1775, the colonial population grew from roughly 2000 to over 2 million, often
displacing Native Americans. In the 18th century, the British government operated its colonies
under a policy of mercantilism, in which the central government administered its possessions for
the economic benefit of the mother country. During the colonial period, slavery was introduced.
However, the Thirteen Colonies had a high degree of self-governance and active local
elections, and they resisted London's demands for more control.
The French and Indian War (1754–63) against France and its Indian allies led to greater
tensions between Britain and the Thirteen Colonies. In the 1750s, the colonies began
collaborating with one another instead of dealing directly with Britain. These inter-colonial
activities cultivated a sense of shared American identity and led to calls for protection of the
colonists' "Rights as Englishmen", especially the principle of "no taxation without
representation". Grievances with the British government led to the American Revolution, in
which the colonies collaborated in forming a Continental Congress which declared
independence in 1776 and fought the American Revolutionary War (1775–83) with the aid
of France, the Dutch Republic, and Spain.
