SUMMARY
Upon graduation in May 2018 from my master’s program in Curriculum and Instruction with concentration in
physics, I will be working at Osbourn Park High School, teaching physics. I intend to guide students toward their
passions in life by equipping them with the skills necessary to do so.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Early Field Observations/Teaching August 2017 -Present
Going into Auburn Middle School every Tuesday and Thursday, activities included assisting the cooperating teacher
for all classroom tasks. These tasks include: teaching, tutoring, general classroom management, designing bulletin
boards, and building relationships with faculty and students.

Graduate Teaching Assistantship August 2016 -Spring 2017
Main activities included assisting professors in the instruction of physics and grading as well as answering student
questions.

Summer Camp Counselor May-August of 2012 - 2015
A spiritual leader for camp activities of children ages 4-17, adults with disabilities, and families. Duties include
planning Bible Studies, counseling, and everyday care and protection of campers.

Fire Team Leader, Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets August 2013- May 2014
As a second-year cadet, duties include the training of 1-2 freshman cadets to perfect practices and duties outlined by
the Cadet Regulations. Another duty is to manage and keep senior cadets on track for graduation and
Commissioning. This cadet responsibility was 24/7.

Lee Hall Studio Graduate Assistant August 2017 - Present
A manager of undergraduate students in the studio space, which consists of 3D printers, shop tools, a laser cutter, and
more. Duties include training with undergraduate coworkers, relationship building with students, and general
management of the equipment.
