Select (S):
Identify a lesson and what standards are you addressing

I teach KG2 today a literacy- reading a dear zoo story for them, I started the lesson with them by
asking a different questions about the cover page (what can you see? Who can read the tittle?
What do you think the story will be about?...etc). I start to read the story and I use my teacher
voice with changing my voice for each character and while I'm reading the story I ask them some
questions after I finished the story I ask them about their favorite animal from the story then I
explain the activity to them.

Describe (D):
Who is the lesson for?
Where did the lesson take place?
What were you trying to achieve in your lesson?
What did the students do?

This lesson is for children 4 to 5 years old in kg2, I taught the lesson in the classroom circle area
and the activity was in groups. In this lesson, I was existed to get the children attention and tell
them the story in a good way and I achieved that.
The students where very involved with me also when I ask them a question or ask them to act like
the lion or frog voice they respond with me.

Analyze (A):
Why do you think the students responded the way that they did?
How well did your teaching relate to the students’ prior understanding?
How well did you engage the students?

The students responded nicely because they like the story and I tried to tell them the story in a
way the will like it by using the poppets and change my voice. My teaching was related to the
student's prior understanding because they know the names of most of the animals and where
they live and what they eat they could imitate the animal's sounds.

Appraise (A):

Did your lesson meet your teaching goals?
The lesson was good and it meets my goals because the children loved the story and the children
were excited. Through this story, I meet my teaching goals because I choose the appropriate story
for their age and interests; also the activity was attractive to them.

To enhance the student learning in the future by integrate the technology and let them use an
