ACTIVITY IDEAS:
1. Select (or Number) the Picture:
Description:
Teacher says a single vocabulary word and students identify
which picture on their page matches with that word. OR
Teacher says sentence(s) and students circle the correct images.
Examples:
Transportation Listening
1. Listen to vocabulary word Profa says when she talks about how
people get places.
2. Find the picture that represents the vocabulary word.
3. Below each vocabulary picture write down the NUMBER (1,2,3
or 4) that corresponds to the picture.

1. Listen as Profa talks about her family members.

ACTIVITY IDEAS:
1. Partner Interviews
Description: Each partner receives a sheet describing what
he/she likes or plays or eats or drinks etc. Additionally there is
space to RECORD their partner’s answers. Each pair asks each
other pre-determined questions and records answers in space
provided.
Example:
Conversation BOOM BAG:
When Quizzing Your Partner:
1. Draw each strip out of the BOOM BAG, one at a time. Ask your
partner the questions in Spanish.
2. Listen to your partner’s response and check it on the “cheat
sheet.”
3. If your partner correctly ANSWERS the QUESTION in SPANISH,
give him or her a point. If your partner doesn’t answer the
question correctly or doesn’t speak in Spanish, put the question
back in the BOOM BAG.
4. If you draw a BOOM, your partner looses ALL his or her points!!
(PLACE the BOOM and the correct strips back in the bag and start
over. )
5. Play until the music stops and record the score for your partner.
1. Listen to the questions that your partner draws from the BOOM
BAG. (You may also read the strip if you need it inorder to help
you understand the question.)
2. Answer the question IN SPANISH by speaking to your partner.
3. If you answer correctly and in SPANISH, you receive a point and
the question stays on the desk. If you answer incorrectly or in
English you receive no points and the question goes back into
the bag.
4. If your partner draws a BOOM you lose ALL your points!! And you
must start back over.
5. Play until the music stops and record your score in the box
below.
