Generators OFG and OFGR

General Description - OFG

Over the top foam generators are installed on the outside
wall of liquid storage tanks above the level of the stored
product, They produce foam and inject it onto the liquid
surface.

SKUM manufacture two types of over the top foam

generator depending on the storage tank construction type.
The OFG and OFGR models can be supplied to a range of
performance specifications and multiple build options as
described below.

Application Description - OFG

The OFG is connected to a foam concentrate supply to
deliver foam onto the liquid surface within the tank. Application Description - OFGR
The SKUM OFGRs are air-aspirated foam discharge devices
OFG units are suited to both fixed and floating roof storage
that are designed to protect floating roof, flammable liquid
tanks and can be supplied with an optional in-situ test
storage tanks. They can be used on open top constructions
feature. This is accessed via an external test cover and
with either a double deck or pontoon type floating roof.
enables testing of the OFG without discharging foam into the
storage tank.
