To Whom It Concerns:

It is my great pleasure to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Aldaberto Arce. I

have known Beto ever since his freshman year at Merced High School, and it is hard for me to
believe he is a senior this year. In the time we have known each other, he has grown into a
mature young man who is more than ready to transition to the next stage of his life’s journey.
Beto has worked hard all four years in high school. He has challenged himself academically
and been successful. He anticipates enrolling in a welding training program after graduation,
and I am sure he will be successful. He sticks with things; he never gives up. There have been
times in high school when he could have retreated from a hard assignment or class, but he has
never done that. Beto is quiet, but he learns quickly. He has great ability as a mechanic.
Aldaberto has taken courses in this area while in High School.
He will be much missed by all his teachers and fellow students at Merced High School. His
ready smile, soft-spoken voice and patient demeanor will no longer grace our campus. We will
be the poorer for his absence. However, our loss will be another organization’s gain.
Wherever Aldaberto goes, he will be an asset to the group. He works hard, learns quickly and
gets along with everyone. Please feel free to contact me if there are any questions. I can be
reached through Merced High School.
Sincerely,

Justin Kenny
Teacher, Merced High School
