Healthy community

The healthy community is an international movement that tends to involve thousands of healthy

community projects, networks as well initiatives globally. The healthy community tends to take a

holistic view of communities, therefore, attempting to recognize that everything is actually

connected to everything. Healthy community’s initiatives play the fundamental role in

integrating social, economic as well as environmental goals for the benefit of the whole

community thus strengthening the ability of the community to promote as well as sustaining

health. In addition, there are various techniques, documents, as well as other resources, may be

incorporated and implemented in order a healthy community (Strauss, W.J. 2018).

How to provide care in a community where your idea doesn’t rhyme with that of the

healthy community

In case one’s idea of healthy community does not rhyme with his/her belief, therefore, he/she

needs to develop a strategy within the community in order to provide health care in such a

community. This strategy must be supported by the majority of the community members for it to

be successful. For such a strategy to be effective, as a healthcare prover should develop a plan

that is fully devised with attainable goals that are within the community. You need to first

promote trust, motivation, ambition within the community members. The community with

therefore build trust with you and accept your health care services (Strauss, W.J. 2018).

Geopolitical community

A geopolitical community is defined as geographical place or area. It may be illustrated by

analyzing the man-made or natural boundaries where people live in. examples of man-made

boundaries are cities where people live, go to study or work. Natural boundaries on the hand, are

land formations that tend to separate different groups of people (Webber, J. 2015). It is a fact that

in the society wherein, natural boundaries aren’t defined well. In coastal California there exist

mountains that divide the valley with the southern part been divided by man-made boundaries.

A phenomenological community where somebody may belong and why

According to (Petalas, C. 2016), a phenomenological community is explained as relational.

Therefore, a society in which common interests are present there would be a sense of

belongingness as well as membership. On my side, I am a very active member of America red

cross as a volunteer for about two years. We as volunteers in association with that common

interest, therefore, helping the community in need.

Challenges and benefits for the community nurses providing health for different societies,

similar community, same community and the possible solutions.

It is a fact that cultural diversity tends to be one of the most challenging issues for the

community nurses thus posing many challenges in providing health care services to the

community. Differences in cultural beliefs such as how such a community view illness may

greatly interfere with the activities of such a nurse and his or her treatment strategies. This might

be the similar and common problem where health care providers provide health care to their

communities. In order to improve their effectiveness, community health nurses should practice

cultural self-awareness thus enhancing recognition of their own culture as well as their linguistic

assumptions as well as biases (Kallio, K.P. 2016).
