I am the ________ at _____ Institution which has been providing exceptional

technical education at the undergraduate and graduate levels since ____. I
have known Mr. Abhijith A Bharadwaj for the past six years in which he has
sought my guidance on a few avenues related to the field of Electronics and
Communications. These include Microelectronics, Analog systems design,
Digital systems design, HDL languages such as VHDL, VERILOG and SYSTEM
VERILOG, use of Microprocessors & Microcontrollers in MEMS control
applications, CAD tools for VLSI, C & C++ Programming.

Throughout these years, Mr. Abhijith has proven himself to be an avid learner
with an acute ability of effectively grasping every aspect being taught. Under
my guidance, Mr. Abhijith has managed to develop a comprehensive
understanding of the analog and digital system design subjects. While Mr.
Abhijith’s academic grades have been consistently upright, he has always
stood a class apart and excelled whenever exposed to real time problems and
applications that are outside the scope of his academics. He has a penchant
towards Front end VLSI design, Low power VLSI Design, Semiconductor
memory design, SoC Design and related subjects. It was these skills and the
strive to develop them that were instrumental in his decision to matriculate
for an MS degree in your prestigious institution and I believe that he will do
commensurate justice to himself and to his academics.

Mr. Abhijith’s quality of excelling in real time problems through

extemporaneous solutions was unearthed when he was working on a project
(Design of a 32 bit ALU using 10nm CNT-FET technology) under my guidance.
The project involved designing advanced arithmetic circuits to be incorporated
in the ALU. With only an initial nudge, he was able to solve the multitude of
design problems by either correlating the design techniques he learnt in his
academics to solve the problems that he stumbled upon or by being creative
enough to search for solutions new to him. The project clearly showed his
yearning to broaden his knowledge in order to overcome any encumbrance
that he faced. Throughout the project he displayed an exemplary command
over the basics of the Microelectronics field, which afforded him to
successfully complete the project.

The project also helped to bring out a few other notable qualities of Mr.
Abhijith. I had a chance to observe him closely during the entire phase of the
project and have been impressed by his innate ability for research as well as
presentation skills. The thoroughness with which he conducted himself in
either seeking my guidance over understanding some aspects unknown to
him or in presenting the project while explaining all the nitty-gritty aspects of
the topic showed a developed and matured communication skill-set, which
only resolves to enhance his strive for knowledge.

I these years of knowing him, a slight weakness that I found in him is a slight
aversion towards subjects not related to his area of interest. But the recent
years of inter-disciplinary research which he taking part in allows me to
confidently aver that his perspective towards other disciplines has changed
for the better.

In conclusion, I would state confidently that Mr. Abhijith, has all the abilities
needed by a Graduate Student, such as innovative thinking, scientific
experimentation, an eye for details and more than all, excellent research
abilities. I therefore recommend Abhijith, without hesitation for your Master’s
Program with assistantship. I am confident of his success and assure you
