B-ROLL

Equipment List
Contingency Plan
Location: Each location I have chosen in which I will conduct the interviews are
completely relevant to each individual job that the interviewee does.
Fortunately, although the locations I have at the moment are perfect for the
interviews, I have found back-up places in which I can film. For example, the
interview with Hester Bancroft will hopefully be filmed in her office at her
house but if this suddenly becomes unavailable then there are offices available
to be rented, hourly, near to where I live.
Equipment: I already have 2 cameras on hand, not only to get different angles
but also in case one of them breaks or stops working. The microphone is not
completely necessary as my cameras pick up good sound already so I don’t
really need it but it will still be useful to gain a better grade. Again, the tripod is
not completely necessary to my production as I could balance the cameras on
books or other objects but it will make it easier for my interviews to get under-
way, instead of messing about with props.
Interviewees: From the confirmation emails above, you can see that I have
created allotted times with all the interviewees in which the filming process
will happen. If at any point a interviewee is unable to make the appointment
then it will not be a problem as we have 2 weeks holiday in which I can rebook
any missed meetings. I have already experienced one cancellation but it was
resolved within that day and the interview will be conducting later on this
week (Friday 20th April).
Crew: The only crew member involved in this whole production is myself,
therefore eliminating any chance of having to rely on other people and I know
then, any mistakes that are made are solely my fault and therefore should be
able to learn and resurrect what had happened.
Lighting: Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to hire out any reflective sheets
from college but if any problems occur due to lighting issues then I have made
sure I have available free time in which I will be able to conduct these
interviews again at a different time.
All interviewees have also informed me that they are completely available for a
reshoot, should it be necessary, they all believe that this issue I have decided
to look into is completely worth their time and effort as well as mine. They
believe it could, if used wisely, create a positive contribution to society.
