Fairy Tale – The mirror tree

By Adrián Echeverry Gómez

Once time ago, on the top of mountains, when men had no name, there was a raven
and a woman, accompanied by a very old tree, the woman was very beautiful, with long
brown hair and a skin as white as snow. She was very wise and generous with nature and
animals; however, sometimes she seemed sad. On the other hand, the raven was as black as
black amber, he had long wings like swords, and eyes bright as ivory. The raven was very
patient and wise, and was also a little cheerful and lonely.

One afternoon, the two of them found themselves next to the big tree that was on
top of the mountain, and they began to look at each other for an hour. Unexpectedly,
suddenly the woman was flying out of control, and the raven could only crawl across the
ground like a snake.

After two days of confused thoughts and complicated feelings, both understood that
the tree had been the mirror that took them to their true bodies.

Now, both were where they belonged.
