Beam Structural
Beam is a structural part of a building that is rigid and designed to
bear and transfer the load to the cantilever column elements. In addition it
also serves as a scree ring binder beam columns so that when there is
movement of the columns remain united retain its original shape and
position. Ring beams are made of the same material as the column so that
the relationship with the ring beam column.
Yes is not easily changed face. Rigid style can lead to non-unifrom
curved beams or deflection should be retined by the internal strength of
the material.
Several types of beams, among others :
Simple beam resting on the tip – end column, with one end rotates
freely and does not have a lasting moment. As with other static structures,
the value of all the reactions, shift and moments for a simple beam is not
dependent cross-sectional shape and material.
- Cantilever beam that is projected or other rigid sructure
supported only at one end fixed.
- Eaves beam is a simple beam that extends past one column
pedestal.
- Beam with fixed ends ( associated strongly ) resist translational
and rotational.
- Stretch of simple beams suspended is supported by teristisan
construction of two spans with a pin connection at the moment
of zero.
- Continous beams extending continuously passed over two
columns pedestal to produce greater rigidity and smaller
moments of a series of beams are not continuous with the same
length and load.
Beam split of some sort, namely :
 Wooden Beams
Wooden beams prop up the board or the structural deck.
Beams can be sustained by the beam, pole, or load-
bearing walls.
 Steel Beams
Steel beams or steel deck shoring precast concrete
planks. Beams can be supported by the beam ( girder ),
columns, or load-bearing walls.
 Concrete Beams
Concrete slab cast-in-place are categorized according to
stretch and shape of the mold.
 Wood Beam
In the selection of wooden beams, the following factors
must be considered : the type of wood, structural
quality, modulud elasticity, the value of buckling stress,
shear stress values are allowed and minimum deflection
which allowed for a particular use, in addition, note the
accurate loading conditions and the type of connection
used.
 Glue laminated timber beams
Glue laminated timber made with quality wood laminate
tense with adhesive material under controlled conditions,
usually parallel to the wood
