DECLARATION
5. The copy of the challan towards remittance of thesis fee of Rs.6000/- and the late thesis submission fee, if any, to
the Bharathiar University Exam Fund Account in the Bank of India branch at Bharathiar University.
7. Attested copy of the University communication granting Registration/extension of time for submission of the thesis
8. Attested copy of the Degree Certificate of P.G./M.Phil. or Mark statement of Part-I Exam. of Ph.D.
9. The penalty fee for the late submission of Ph.D. Thesis is Rs.500/- (if it exceeds six months from the date of
submission of the Synopsis) for every six months till the date of submission of thesis.
10. Actual Postal Expense is to be paid by the candidate at time of the submission of consolidated Report. A fee of
Rs.500/- Is to be paid by the candidate for Provisional Certificate along with the Viva voce report.

Duly filled in application (2 Nos.) should be submitted in person to the Director, Research & Development
Centre, Bharathiar University and forwarded to Controller of Examinations not less than three months before the date
of submission of the thesis. Another copy of the Synopsis application should be submitted to the Registrar, Bharathiar
University, Coimbatore.
The following should be submitted along with the application submitted to the Controller of Examinations:
1. The fee for Rs. 3000/- in the form of challan (Exam. Fund Account) obtained from the Bank of India branch at
Bharathiar University Campus.
3. The attested copy of the PG Degree certificate and M.Phil. Part I examination Mark Statement (in the case of direct
Ph.D. Candidates) / M.Phil. Degree certificate (in the case of M.Phil. passed candidates)
4. Six copies of the synopsis. & copy of the synopsis in a CD (2 Nos.) with PDF file not exceeding 4 pages.
5. If there is any change of topic/change of Guide/Conversion of Full time to Part time and vice versa/ Extension of
time for submission of Ph.D. thesis/exemption from writing M.Phil. Part I examinations or any other letter obtained
from the Registrar, Bharathiar University, the attested copies of the same should be submitted along with the
application.
6. Panel of examiners should be submitted in a sealed cover. Without the panel of examiners, the synopsis will not be
accepted.
