Copy this in terminal line by line:

sudo systemctl enable atieventsd
sudo systemctl start atieventsd

sudo systemctl enable catalyst-hook

sudo systemctl start catalyst-hook

sudo systemctl enable temp-links-catalyst

sudo systemctl start temp-links-catalyst

sudo aticonfig --initial

You can now reboot your system:

sudo reboot

To run Catalyst Control Center :

sudo amdcccle
For some reason this fixes/bypasses the GTK issues.
