This year 2016, Gwangju Biennale became the 11th. As an appropriation scale, it is counting in 5 fingers.
But it has been criticized it doesn’t have much durability.
One of the important reason, people didn’t have connection and participant with local area and people.
Local relation is an essential part of the plan for the chief director of GB11 Maria Lind(Tensta Konsthall in Sweden)
