What do you expect to learn from the subject?

“Structured Learning Experience (SLE)” means experiential, supervised, in-depth

learning experiences that are designed to offer students the opportunity to more fully
explore career interests within one or more of the Career Clusters, as described in
N.J.A.C. 6A:8-3.2, Career education and counselling. NJAC 6A:19-1.2

From the title of the course itself, I expect that this program will provide me varied
opportunities to explore my abilities in handling group dynamics. This will prepare me to
fully understand how to deal with people with individual differences. It is a fact that it is
actually somewhat difficult to manage groups. It is not easy to deal with different kinds
of people and how you are going to encourage them to support you and be with you
in all of the undertakings.

I expect that this course will help me to become fully equipped of the essential abilities
and skills of a leader. I believe that to become a good leader, I must be prepared to
the task that I have to shoulder. I must be ready to embrace what awaits me as a
leader. It is important that I know how to manage groups well, how to deal with some
issues which are normal in a group setting.

From the learning that I will gain from this subject, I am sure that I could become a
successful leader in the future. I know that I will be provided with the knowledge and
skills which I need to lead the group sensibly and responsibly. I know that knowledge
and experiences will contribute a lot to become successful managers. I also expect
that I will be trained enough on the proper attitude of a leader.

Aside from the leadership skills, this will also teach me how to collaborate within the
group. This will guide me on how to work cooperatively with other people. This will
provide experiences on how to become a part of a certain group. As a member, I must
know as well on how to deal and cooperate with the other members of the group.

Structured learning experiences will help me cope up with the demands of becoming a
member and a leader. This is a preparation for both of the important roles within the
group.
