Solution 1
(NH4)2SO4……………………………………..3.0 g
K2HPO4………………………………………...0.5 g
MgSO4.7H2O…………………………………..0.5 g
KCl……………………………………………...0.1 g
Ca(NO3)2……………………………………….0.01 g
DI Water………………………………………..700 ml

Adjust pH to 5.5 with H2SO4. Autoclaved at 120oC.

Solution 2
FeSO4.7H2O…………………………………..44.22 g
DI Water……………………………………….300 ml

Adjust the pH to 1.4 with H2SO4. Filtered sterilize.

After solution 1 has cooled, both solutions can be combined and then distributed
into sterile screw cap tubes.

For long term storage the medium should be stored in the dark.
