Research Design
The descriptive method of research was used in conducting this study since it aims to
describe the extent of school and teachers’ readiness, along with the problems encountered in
the implementation to k12.
Garcia (2010) cited that descriptive research aims to describe systematically,
functionally, accurately and objectively a situation, problem or phenomena.
Calmorin (2003) cited that descriptive research focuses at the present condition, the purpose of
which is to find new truth. Descriptive research is also valuable in providing facts on which
scientific judgments may be based.
Population
