BIRTH ASSISTANT (SEPT 2017-CURRENT)
I attend clinical appointments as a student midwife including
charting, taking vitals, processing labs, and other office work. I
also attend home births and assist the midwife. We join mothers
in labor to offer labor support, track vitals, monitor labor, etc. I
chart, take maternal vitals, check fetal heart tones, and assist the
midwife, as needed.

BIRTH DOULA (JAN 2016-CURRENT)
I currently market my business and interview with potential
clients. Upon hire, I meet with clients prenatally to educate and
prepare them for labor and birth. During labor, I provide
continuous emotional, physical, and informational support.
Postnatally, I provide breastfeeding assistance and assist in any
way needed to help the new family settle in to life with baby. I
created and maintain my website, track my finances, and keep
records.
