Mexican Armored Vehicles

Mexico is a Federal Republic under the U.S. and above Guatemala and
Belize, it is bordered by The Pacific Ocean, The Gulf of Mexico, and the
Caribbean Sea. So I was bored and started researching obscure
Armored Vehicles, then I stumbled upon the Mexican Army's Roster of
Armored Vehicles, so I decided to make a thread about them. Here it is:

So I'll start by talking about the Non-Mexican-Made vehicles Mexico

uses:

-ERC-90 F1 Lynx (TD)

-Armament: 90mm F1 Smoothbore Cannon (Shorter lower-velocity

version)
-Secondary: Two 7.62mm Machine Guns (M240C and M240E1)
-Crew: 3 Soldiers
-Engine: 155hp V6 Petrol
-Maximum Speed: 95 km/h
-Weight: 7,600 kg
-Gun Elevation:-8°/35°

If you have played Armored Warfare, you are no stranger to the ERC-90
F4 Sagaie. But this is the little brother of the F4, the F1 Lynx. They look
almost exactly the same, except for the gun, which is shorter on the F1
Lynx.
They have several differences, the F1 Lynx has a lower-velocity and
lower-accuracy 90mm F1 Smoothbore Cannon, while the F4 Sagaie uses
a longer and more accurate 90mm F4 Smoothbore Cannon. But, the F1
Lynx does have some advantages, for example, the Gun Elevation at
35°, which the F4 Sagaie does not have since its elevation is only 13°.
Being almost identical, both F1 and F4 versions are amphibious.
The F1 Lynx also weights less at 7,600kg in comparison to the 8,200kg
of the F4 Sagaie.

-M8 Greyhound (AFV)

-Armament: 20mm SEDENA Autocannon

-Secondary: One .50BMG Machinegun (M2HB)
-Crew: 4 Soldiers
-Engine: 110hp 6-Cylinder Gasoline
-Maximum Speed: 89 km/h
-Weight: 7,400 kg
-Gun Elevation:-10°/20°

You probably know the M8 greyhound from World War II, well, The
Mexican Army still uses it, though upgraded.
The 37mm gun was replaced with a SEDENA 20mm Autocannon for
better anti-infantry use, while everything else remains almost identical.
The Greyhound was an armored car used by the US Army during The
Second World War and has had a very long lasting career from 1943 till
today.

-Panhard VBL (AFV)

-Armament: 40mm Grenade Machine Gun (Mk19 GL)

-Secondary: MILAN ATGM
-Crew: 3 Soldiers
-Engine: 95hp Turbo-Diesel Engine
-MaximumSpeed: 95 km/h
-Weight: 3,600 kg
-Gun Elevation: N/A

The infamous ''invisible'' VBL is in use with The Mexican Army. A popular
AFV in Armored Warfare for it's small size and great camo rating.
The Mexican VBLs come equipped with the Auto-Grenade-Launcher Mark
19 of US origin, and the always popular MILAN Guided Missiles.
Mexico was one of the first countries to import VBLs, they were seen in
use for the first time by The Mexican Army at parades and conventions.

-DNC-1 (AFV)

-Armament: 20mm SEDENA Autocannon

-Secondary: N/A
-Crew: 3 Soldiers (+8 Troops)
-Engine: 250hp 8-Cylinder Gas Liquid-Cooled
-Maximum Speed: 60 km/h
-Weight: 14,200 kg
-Gun Elevation: -10°/65°

This is a modified version of the AMX-VCI made in 1957, it has also, like
the Greyhound, been upgraded with a SEDENA 20mm Autocannon.
It can still carry troops despite modifications, and has a great Gun
Elevation at approximately 65°. Compared to other vehicles in use with
The Mexican Army, it is quite heavy.
-MEX-1 (AFV)

-Armament: 20mm SEDENA Autocannon

-Secondary: One 7.62mm MG (M240E1)
-Crew: 4 Soldiers (+3 Troops)
-Engine: 210hp V6 Diesel
-Maximum Speed: 104 km/h
-Weight: 7,300 kg
-Gun Elevation: -10°/35°

Mexico imported Chrysler MAC-1s into their Armored Vehicle roster and
renamed them MEX-1.
The MAC-1 uses a GIAT 20mm Autocannon (replaced with SEDENA AC)
and a M240E1 7.62mm Machine Gun (used by troops) as armament.
The MAC-1 is no longer in production.

-SEDENA HWK-13 (AFV)

-Armament: 20mm SEDENA Autocannon
-Secondary: N/A
-Crew: 3 Soldiers (+10 Troops)
-Engine: 210hp V6 Diesel
-Maximum Speed: 65 km/h
-Weight: 9,800 kg
-Gun Elevation: -10°/30°

The HWK-11 is a German-Mexican collaboration that started in 1962,

the HWK-11 is just the APC's Hull, tracks, and engine. The HWK-13 is
the 20mm armed version of the HWK-11. There was only one image of
it. Compared to the DNC-1, this weights about 4,000kg less, even
though it's way bigger.

-APC-70 (AFV)
-Armament: 40mm Grenade Machine Gun (Mk19 GL)
-Secondary: N/A
-Crew: 3 Soldiers (+12 Troops)
-Engine: x2 8x8 Transmission Diesel
-Maximum Speed: 80 km/h
-Weight: 10,400 kg
-Gun Elevation: N/A

The APC-70 is a modified version of the BTR-60 in use with The Mexican
Marines and Mexican Navy. The vehicle can be equipped with either a
40mm Grenade Launcher or a 7.62mm Machine Gun.
The APC-70, like the BTR, is an amphibious vehicle, hence why it's used
by the Navy.
The vehicle can carry up to 12 troops inside of it, and they can open fire
safely from the inside.

Now for mexican-made and designed vehicles:

-DN-III (AFV)
-Armament: 25mm SEDENA Autocannon
-Secondary: One 7.62mm Machine Gun (M240E1)
-Crew: 3 Soldiers
-Engine: Unknown
-Maximum Speed: Unknown
-Weight: Unknown
-Gun Elevation: Unknown

A very mysterious vehicle, there's little to no information about it. It

seems to be based on the V-100 chassis.
The machine has three crew and uses a rumored 25mm SEDENA
Autocannon.

-DN-IV Caballo (AFV)

-Armament: 20mm SEDENA Autocannon

-Secondary: One 7.62mm Machine Gun (M240E1)
-Crew: 3 Soldiers
-Engine: 210hp V8 Diesel
-Maximum Speed: 80 km/h
-Weight: 9,500kg
-Gun Elevation: -5°/40°

This vehicle uses the same turret as the DN-III, but with the smaller
20mm Autocannon inside.
It has 3 crew and uses a 210hp engine which allows it to go 80 km/h on
the road.

-DN-V Toro (AFV)

-Armament: 20mm SEDENA Autocannon
-Secondary: One 7.62mm Machine Gun (M240E1)
-Crew: 3 Soldiers (+6 Troops)
-Engine: 210hp V8 Diesel
-Maximum Speed: 75 km/h
-Weight: 10,500kg
-Gun Elevation: -10°/45°

This can be considered an upgraded version or the DN-IV Caballo, using

the same armament and engine, this vehicle can now carry 6 troops by
making space in the middle of the hull.
The vehicle also comes equipped with smoke launchers.

-DN-V Bufalo (LT/AFV)

-Armament: 75mm M3 Howitzer
-Secondary: One .50BMG Machine Gun (M2HB)
-Crew: 3 Soldiers (+6 Troops)
-Engine: 210hp V8 Diesel
-Maximum Speed: 72 km/h
-Weight: 10,800kg
-Gun Elevation: -5°/25°

Also designated ad DN-V for the use of the exact same hull, however,
this version uses the turret of the american M8 Gun Carriage with the
75mm Howitzer used by the M8 Scott.

And that's about it, not very impressive, that's why I'm not trying to
suggest any vehicles because they might get slaughtered by other
modern tanks, but I found it interesting nonetheless, I may have gotten
a few facts wrong so try to message me what I got wrong and I will edit
the post.
You could also argue adding them as Tier 1-3 tanks, but still.
There are also rumors of the Vickers Fox being in service with Mexico,
but it's just one unit, here's a photo:

Rheinmetall MK 20 Rh 202
The Rh202 is an autocannon with a caliber of 20 mm designed and produced by Rheinmetall.
The cannon is used on military vehicles of German origin, like the Marder infantry fighting vehicle, the
Spähpanzer Luchs and some variants of the Wiesel AWC. It is also used in the Argentinian VCTP, an
IFV based on the TAM chassis. German naval ships also employed Rh202 mounts (usually 2 on
frigates and destroyers, 4 on larger replenishment ships), but they have been or are currently replaced
with the new Mauser (now a subsidiary of Rheinmetall) MLG 27 remote controlled guns of 27 mm
calibre.
