Dear Families,

My name is Kayla Clark and this semester I am in Mrs. Busch’s K4 classroom

with your students. I am an Early Childhood Education student at Alverno College,
looking to pursue my Bachelor of Science in Education (BSE). For this program, I am
required to be in multiple classrooms for a set amount of hours and also teach multiple
lessons as well. Mrs. Busch’s classroom is my 4th field placement in my career at
Alverno and I look forward to finishing the semester out with your wonderful students. I
have already spent so much time with the class and all of the children are so sweet and
welcoming to me in the classroom. They call me Miss Clark. I am writing you this letter
because this semester I am teaching 5 lessons to your students, while one of them is
required to be recorded for self-reflection purposes. The attached letter states in more
detail about the procedure and what the video will be used for. Please, if you could,
return the detachable slip back to Mrs. Busch so I have them for when the video lesson
has to be taught.
