POOR MORALITY AND SPIRITUALITY OF YOUTHS

ABSTRACT

Morality and spirituality of mankind is very significant for it deals with inner self and shall

preserve its goodness and apply authentic care. Indeed, these two varies in the modern ideologies

and perceptions which results to the corruption of one’s morality and spirituality especially to the

youth. Chanakya said that the world biggest power is the youth, yet numerous of concerned

individuals observed the modification of morality and spirituality of youths which is declining

according to them.

In Masarawag National High School with approximately 700 students, the researcher aim

to answer the question, “What are the causes of the decreasing monotonic percentage of morality

and spirituality of youths?” This is done through answering the survey given by the researcher to

the sixty-two (62) student respondents which is 8.86% of the total student population.

The study focuses on the analyzation of Masarawag National High School youths or

students about its morality and spirituality which is important in the realization of youths,

supporting parents, elders and teachers role in molding them, giving hint to our community and

church leaders on the development of the moral and spiritual needs of our youths, and lastly to

help other researchers in its further study on the dilemma presented.

The study hope to inform the shapers of youth in understanding and creating a clear steps

in solving this wide range and trending problem.

unselfishly shared which really helped in making this study more comprehensive for which the
