1.0 Ad Server Login
Go to : http://s80823.gridserver.com/openx‐2.8.2
Enter Username : Username
Enter Password : Password
Click on ‘Login’ as shown in Figure 1.0
Once logged in successfully you would be able to view the below given Figure 2.0
2.0 OpenX – Home Page
Once you have successfully typed in the Username & Password, you would find the below OpenX
Home Page given as Figure 1.0
As per the above Figure 1.0; there are Four (4) Navigation buttons available,
1. Home ‐ As per the above details
2. Statistics ‐ Overall statistics of the Advertises & Campaign
3. Inventory ‐ Adding of New Advertises and Ad‐Campaigns
4. My Account ‐ Administrators/ Users Account details
Click on the “Inventory” option given above in Figure 1.0 to access the Adding of a New Ad‐Campaign
Page, etc.
Once you have completed the above task, you could find the below Figure 2.0 of the Inventory Page
and its attributes.
3.0 OpenX – Inventory Page
Adding of New Campaigns or Advertises could be accomplished as per the below details.
If a New Advertiser needs to be added, click on the “Add New Advertiser” option given below in
Figure 3.0:
Once clicked, you would find the below screenshot (Figure 3.1) and its necessary categories.

Given above as Sample – 1; in Figure 3.0 are the already created Advertiser categories (temporary
examples) in which you could Edit (by clicking on the respective Advertiser) or Delete (by clicking on
the Delete button)
If need be in Adding or Editing Campaigns, you could accomplish the necessary by Clicking on the
above given (2) two options (given Sample – 2)which are;
o Add new campaign ‐ Adding of a New Campaign to the existing or New Advertiser
o Campaigns ‐ Editing of an Existing Campaign
Fill out the respective categories given below in Figure 3.1 as per the required requirements.
Once completed Click on the Save Changes button given below.
Once Saved successfully, you could find the below sample Text Box Notification (given as Figure 3.2)
on top of the Basic information Heading.
Now let us follow on to the Next main Category which is Campaigns.
Please refer the below (4.0 – OpenX Campaign Page) for further details.
4.0 OpenX – Campaign Page
Once Clicked on the Second tab on the Right given Sub Categories of the Main Inventory Category,
you could witness the below given Figure 4.0;

Click on the above given 1st Sample Category given above in Figure 4.0 as (My test Campaign) to view
the Inner Campaign Page.
Once Clicked and loaded successfully you could find the below Screenshot.
Please see Figure 4.1 for further details;
As per the Above 2 Figures (4.1 & 4.2) you could find 7 – Main Fields in which information is required.
This could be achieved only when you have chosen one of the given check box options in the Basic
information criteria which are;
1. Contract ‐ “This campaign is limited per day and is going to be delivered evenly until the end
date or specified limit is met”
2. Contract (Exclusive) – “This campaign is going to take all impressions and be delivered before
other campaigns”
3. Remnant – “This is a standard campaign which can be constrained with either an end date or a
specific limit”
Once you have chosen one of the above criteria’s, fill in the following categories below them as
shown in Figures 4.1 & 4.2 and Click on the Save Changes Button in the bottom of the screen.
Once successfully Saved you could move on to the Next sub category which is “Banners”
Click on the Banners tab to view the below Figure 5.0 and its criteria’s.
5.0 OpenX – Banner Page
As per Figure 5.0; you could find the heading of the Banner in which you are presently about to edit
and in which its’ necessary criteria’s are given.
Click on the respective sample Banner given above as (my test banner) in Figure 5.0 to edit the
individual criteria’s of the necessary banner which is added newly or in which changes are required.
Please refer the below Figure 5.1 for more details.

Given above in Figure 5.1;
o Criteria – 1 (which you could Name the Main Banner)
o Criteria – 2 (which you could upload an existing Image by clicking on the Browse button)
o Criteria – 3 (if a new Link or Page needs to be opened once clicked on to the banner)
*Please see the below Figure 5.2 for the rest of the criteria’s in Figure 5.1 once scrolled down in screen.
o Criteria – 4 (Banner Dimensions and placement criteria) –
* Important: Please do not change the Dimensions of the Images as it will make the site
malfunction.
o Criteria – 5 (Additional data)
Once complete, Click on the Save Changes button to continue to the Next sub category.
Please see Figure 6.0 for further details.
6.0 OpenX – Website Page Criteria
Click on the given temporary website which is given above in Figure 6.0 to enter the next page of its
respective criteria.
Please see the below Figure 6.1 for further details.
As per Figure 6.1; please refer the below criteria’s for further info.
o Website URL – Site address
o Name – Name of the Site or anything relevant to its nature
o Contact
o Email – Email address of the above contact person
o Category ‐ in which the sites and its respective banners belong to (Not as essential)
o Country/ Language
7.0 OpenX – Zones Page Criteria

As per the above Figure 7.0; you would be able to view the present existing Zones which is given
above as the sample zones for your revision purposes or If you’re in the Process of Creating a New
Zone just Click on the above given Point – 1
Please see Figure 7.1 for the following page after you have clicked on one of the above available
Zones.
As per the above Figure 7.1; fill in the required details which are important and continue to the next
category.
*Important – As you could see in the above Figure 7.1, in which the size of the banner is mentioned
in the Size category, this should match the same dimension figures of the Banner Width and Height
which we had mentioned in the above Notes of the Banner Properties. Please refer Figure 5.2 for
further clarification on the similar Widths & Heights of the Banner.
Once completed, move on to the next sub category in the Zone Property itself which you could find in
the below Figure 7.2 (marked as: Point – 1)

To Link a newly created Banner is as follows;
Choose one of the given options from the “Please choose what to link to this zone” – (In
this example we have given you, we have chosen the “Link banners by parent campaign”
option coz this Zone is linked to the Banner in which we have created in the above Figure
5.0 Category above and its respective Campaign)
Once completed, continue to the second category which is “Select the Campaign you
would like to link to this Zone” category and select one of the given categories from the
drop down menu.
Next, move on to the next option category which is Select Campaign and choose the
Campaign in which you had created to before as the Parent Campaign and click on the
little arrow button given above as Point – 2 to link the respective Campaign and its
Banner with its related Zone category.
As per the above given Figure 7.4; please make sure to Copy all the Highlighted Code criteria of the
Bannercode and Paste it on to the Word Press – Ads criteria. Please follow the below given steps in
order to avoid any errors in Copy Pasting the correct code to the right criteria.
o Step 1 – Copy the Code from the Bannercode criteria.
o Step 2 – Open up the Word Press Dashboard and choose the below Ads criteria given on
the left side bar (refer the below Figure 7.5) & choose the Create New Option
o Step 3 – Once done, you would receive the “Create Ad” Page and its criteria in which the
copied Code should be pasted. (refer the below Figure 7.5)

Please make sure to Name the specific Ad Headings according to its Respective Page and Criteria’s
according to the below given Page Names & its Tags.

10. Inquiry

Please ensure NOT to change any skeptic details of the above Page Names as its’ recommended and
advised from the backend development team. As an example, please see the below examples for
further clarification in naming numerous Ads of the same Page and its respective Criteria.
e.g.: Naming of an Ad on the top of the Home Page should read out as – Home1
And if there are several more Ads below the 1st created Ad (Home ‐ 1), it should read out as
Home2, Home3, etc.
e.g. (2): Naming of an Ad on the Table of Contents Page should read out as – TableOfContents1
Finally after all this criteria requirements are met, make sure to check if the Weight in the
Optimization Sub‐Category of the Main Advanced Options Category is on the Weight of (1), as this
numeral digit should not be changed to any other digit other than No.1. As this would then result of
the Banner not appearing on the site or other matters etc.
Please see Figure 7.7 for the details in which this category is specified as Point ‐ 1.

Please also make sure that the OpenX Market option is NOT Enabled. Check the above Point – 2 for
further clarification.
Once all these are completed, please Click on the Save Button given on top of this page to Save any
Changes and to also Add the Newly created Banner to the site.
