President Dianne Wilson opened the meeting.
Gary Irwin gave the invocation by invoking the
memory of brother Albert Rayhill, former
President of Saint Mary’s and the Papal
recognition he received in 1975. The lone guest
was Larry Tessler.
Happy Bucks & Announcements
Gary Irwin had 4 happy bucks for the
performance of the Kansas Jay Hawks in
the NCAA Tournament. John Erickson
chimed in with a recognition of the Kansas
State team in the tournament.
Peter Metzger had 2 happy bucks as he
was attending two basketball games this
his trip to Southern California and Arizona
where he attended spring training at 4
different parks. Unfortunately, on his return
he had sad news as he had to put down
his dog.
Vicki Devlin had happy bucks for the visit
of her daughter and granddaughter.
Al Simonsen had a happy buck for the
University of Oregon womens’ basketball
team making it to the elite 8 of the NCAA
tournament. They are led by Sabrina
Ionescu, former local high school
basketball star.
Diane Wilson offered happy bucks for her
granddaughter’s arrival from Montana on
her way to Mexico to build houses with
MVPC.
Peter Metzger had the mystery story
about working in Menlo Park where he
observed a bike being stolen . Peter gave
chase and two different stories followed.
Alka Mulakaluri guessed the right version
and won the cookies.
Rich Render announced that the Waste
fund raiser will be April 28.
Mike McCluer informs us that 9
individuals have applied or are applying as
business members.
