Application note – software upgrade
to use the latest functions on KACO “Powador” Tx3 series inverters

Application
The inverters in the “Powador” device series must be equipped with new software packages in order to make use of the
latest functions (such as remote configuration or remote updates). To this end, temporary installations may be necessary
so that the device can fully support the extended functionality.
While you will still have access to the current range of functions, by performing the upgrade, you will have access to
other functions that will improve the performance of your device and make it easier to maintain.
The intermediate steps required to install the latest software package are described in the flow chart below.
