Cell Y shrinks and crenates. Water molecules diffuse out

Cell becomes haemolysis . water molecule of the cell by osmosis.
diffuse in by osmosis Sel Y mengecut dan mengalami krenasi. Molekul air meresap
keluar dari sel secara osmosis.
Answer : X : Golgi apparatus Y : rough endoplasmic reticulum Z : secretory vesicle

Answer: 1. DNA //deoxyribonucleic acid 2. RNA // ribonucleic acid

Answer : 1 Quarternary (structure)

Sample answer : Heamoglobin

Sample answer : P1 : complex (protein) molecule P2 : combination of two /more tertiary structure (of
polypeptide chain) P3 : form large protein molecule

Sample answer: F : mutation occur E1 : genetic code/ information / gene of DNA E2 : destroyed / change
/ E3 : cannot synthesise the enzyme / amylase / lipase / protease / any suitable enzyme. E4 : organism
cannot digest food // rate of metabolism become lower // organism
BAHAGIAN C

MULTICELLULAR ORGANISM UNICELLULAR ORGANISM

Digestion Needs digestive system to Food is taken directly
transport the food from the through the cell membrane
surrounding into the body and digested by
to be digested and absorbed intracellular enzyme
Digested food then
transported to the body by
blood and lymphatic system
EXCRETION Needs transport system to Does not need transport
carry excretory waste to systm because the waste ie
kidney directly eliminated from
the cell to surrounding
through the cell membrane
RESPIRATION Needs specific gas exchange No specific transport
system of oxygen and system is required because
carbon dioxide gasseos exchange can take
place by simple diffusion

 Fish is covered by the salt solution which is isotonic to fish tissue

 More water diffuse out by osmosis
 The fish become dehydrated
 This prevent bacterial growth
 Fish can last longer

 Vegetable are immersed in vinegar which is acidic

 Vinegar diffuse in the vegetable tissue
 The vegetable tissue become acidic
 The low ph prevent the bacterial to growh
 Vegetable can last longer

PROBLEM STATEMENT What is concentration of potato strips that is 3
isotonic to plasma membrane
HYPOTHESIS 3
VARIABLES Mv:the concentration of sucrose 3
Rv: The length of potato strips
Fv:Types of potato
MATERIALS / APPARATUS 3
Potato , sucrose solution ( 0.5, 5.0.10.0, 15.0,
20.0%), filter paper, cork borer, ruler, test tubes,
stopwatch
PROCEDURE 1. Cut a potato strips into 5 cm 3
2. Fill up 6 test tubes with sucrose solution
and labelled A- F
3. Immersed one potato strips into each test
tube
4. After 30 minutes take out the potato strips
and wipe with filter paper
5. Measure the final length potato strips.
6. All result are record and tabulated.
