Dear future leader

My name is Mane Lakic and you’re probably asking


yourself who I am, what I do and what is the goal of this
eBook?

The answer is simple, the eBook was created to inspire


and encourage you to take the test on page 18.

Why do I have this goal, and what is this test about?

I will answer these questions for you shortly, but before


I get there, let me introduce myself.

I was born in the beautiful city of Vienna in 1982, I


married my dream woman in 2007, and we have a 5
year old daughter, which has been the greatest gift of
our lives.

I’m currently the co-founder and owner of two very


successful companies which I run in partnership with
my best friend Ibrahim.

If I were forced to describe myself in one word,


I would say: SUCCESSFUL
This may sound pretty arrogant, but please allow me to
explain my reasoning in more detail. When I say that I
am successful, I’m not talking about my Rolex watch or
my fancy car. I believe I have found success in
relationships, health, happiness, and yes -financial
success as well.

But this was not always the case. Only few years ago it
was actually the opposite. When I first failed with one of
my companies in my early 20s, I didn’t even have
money to buy a sandwich. I’m not kidding when I tell you
that I once spent my last few Euros to fill up my car with
fuel. I was left with no money in my pockets and huge
debts. Now you may ask, ‘why the hell was I driving a
car around if I had no money, and why didn’t I use that
money to buy a sandwich!?‘
The truth is, at that stage of my life, the material world
was more important for me than anything else.
Strangely, the material world was so important to me,
but I had not translated this importance and desire into
any money or financial success.

THE MORE I WANTED


SOMETHING, THE HARDER
IT WAS TO GET IT.
So I struggled year after year trying to catch my luck
without much success, and I couldn’t understand why my
life was so hard.
Many years later, in October 2014, I attended a seminar
in Germany from Jürgen Höller. At the seminar I took a
test, and it opened my eyes to the reasons that I was
failing all the time! All along, it was my mindset that was
holding me back without me knowing. What I learned at
this event changed my life completely. I learned that my
beliefs were ruling my results, and I learned how the
Mindset-System works, and the R-D-E Formula.

After attending this event in Germany, truly and


honestly, my life changed 180 degrees. I now have a
deep desire to share the core insights with you in this
eBook.

All of the details are in the pages that follow, but please
allow me to give you a word of caution:

There are so many motivational books available.
The books are there to reveal the secret to
success to you, show you how to achieve your
dreams and live your best life. We have
convinced ourselves that we need a guide, a
manual to show us how to become our best self
and achieve greatness. The truth is, you don’t
need a book to teach you what you already know
inside – you can do anything you want if you
want it badly enough.

How many times have you found life testing you


and your first thought was – I’m not going to
make it through?
Yet here you are, still breathing and living,
proving yourself wrong. You find yourself looking
back and thinking – that wasn’t so bad after all.

You can do it only if you make success your only


option, and give yourself no other alternative.

When you’ve done that, you WILL find a way


through it. Yes, you did it because when you
make it your only choice to succeed, to do
something, when you give yourself no other
alternative; you KNOW you will find a way
through it.
Now you are probably asking
yourself, why am l where I am?

You are where you are because,


like each one of us every now
and then, you want to be
reminded of just how strong
you are. And you want to be
reminded that you can do
anything if you have the right
mindset – the success mindset.
Chapter 1:
HOW TO BECOME
MORE AWARE
OF YOUR THOUGHTS
Are you aware of your thoughts?
What is it that makes us forget how
great we are, and how we can be? It’s
our own negative thoughts about
ourselves, and doubts about our
abilities. If there are too many of them,
two things can happen.

First, the negative thoughts begin to


multiply in our subconscious, making it
more difficult to get rid of them.

Second, the negative thoughts begin to


turn into beliefs that change our
mindset into creating limitations that
were not there to begin with.

Are you aware of your thoughts? Are


you aware of their tremendous power if
you believe in them?
One would think, of course people are
aware of their thoughts, we think
willingly, it doesn’t just happen.

Well what if l told you that it is
estimated that the human brain
processes between 12,000-70,000
thoughts per day?
Are you aware of all of them? Of
course, it would be ridiculous and
inefficient to analyze every single
thought that goes through your mind.

Yet it is SO IMPORTANT to notice,


monitor and react to negative thoughts
that drain your energy and limit you.

In the next chapter you’ll learn about


the Mindset-System and how it works
in detail, but for now let’s accept that
we are all thinking beings.

All action results from thought;


so it is thoughts that matter.”

Our mind is always ON. And


unfortunately, most of the thoughts are
repetitive, reflective on the past,
fearful of the future, or just simply
nonsense. 5
So how many of those thoughts are we
actually aware of? Most of the
repetitive thoughts are automatic
—hatched in our subconscious mind
and beyond our conscious awareness.

Now, the conscious mind can process


about 40 bits of information per
second, but the subconscious mind can
process 40 Million bits of information
per second.

As the result, our subconscious has


incredible influence on our mind, and
most of us are not completely aware of
this influence.

The answer is simple. We need to have
helpful beliefs that automatically
produce helpful thoughts that in turn
lead us to make more helpful actions.

The reason why negativity often
consumes us is because most negative
thoughts go straight to our
subconscious, unquestioned, and
unchallenged.

Over time, they turn into beliefs!

We actually start to believe the


negativity, making us believe we are
not good enough, or that we are weak.

So how do we prevent this from


happening?

How do we fight the bad guys in our


mind?

Chapter 2:
HOW TO BREAK
THROUGH THE
NEGATIVE THINKING
Can you reprogram your mind?

In order to prevent, monitor, and


mitigate negative thinking, you first
have to understand how it functions.

Here is how the Mindset-system


works: everything starts with your
thoughts.

Your thoughts produce emotions, and


those eMOTIONs cause you to act and
to move.

Your actions produce an outcome, and


the outcome of your actions is what
builds your experience.

Your mindset is simply a


construction of your beliefs and
experiences.

A simple example of this is the notion
that when the weather is cloudy, there
is no sun outside and it is raining, then
you are going to feel depressed and
have a bad day.

Your first thought about this bad


weather might be: “Rain is bad.” That
thought can causes you to feel bad
every time it rains.

When you feel bad, your actions will


reflect that – and you might not be
motivated to do great things that day.

The outcome of your mood and
feelings will therefore result in you
having a bad day.
This bad day builds your experience
that combined with the experiences of
others, who also think that rain results
in a bad day.
This combination ultimately builds your
mindset about rainy days. The more
this cycle repeats, the stronger your
mindset becomes, that rain results in a
bad day and a bad mood.

Now think about the cycle again but


now with positive thoughts about the
weather situation – think about what
would happen if rain didn’t bother you,
and if you would feel happy regardless
of the weather.

Think about all the other times in life


when you are expected to feel sad or
bad about an event in your life and
think about the effect it had on your
overall physical state and on your 10
state of mind.
We cannot change what
has already happened,
and very often we are not
able to control future
situations, like the
weather for example, but:

WE CAN CONTROL AND


CHANGE ALWAYS THE WAY
THAT WE THINK ABOUT
SITUATIONS.
The way that we think changes our
emotions. The emotions change our
actions, and the actions change our
outcomes into more positive and
fruitful life experiences.

The more we repeat the same process,


and project the same experiences that
confirm our beliefs, the stronger our
mindset will be.

If you are not happy in some of the
above mentioned areas, then you
should work to change your Mindset.

How you can accomplish a mindset


change in 3 super simple steps I’ll
introduce to you within the R-D-E
Formula in the next chapter but before
let’s concentrate on the Test.

The following is a life changing test


that will make you reflect on your
beliefs about success and your attitude
towards entrepreneurship.

There are no wrong or right answers!


But in order to get the most of this
test, you have to take enough time and
read every statement very carefully.

Many of these will sounds familiar to
you, and many of these are thoughts
that people live by, limiting their
potential and shrinking their horizon.

For example, statement number 30


says: "Considering my past, becoming
successful would be very difficult."

This is what many people tell


themselves, because they believe that
their past determines their present if
they have experienced failure in the
past.
Or as statement number 10 says, you
think you are not educated enough to
become a successful entrepreneur –
those beliefs are exactly the reasons
why you are failing – you are
sabotaging yourself from the outset.

TO GET THE MOST OUT OF THE TEST,


WE SUGGEST THAT YOU PRINT IT
OUT AND GIVE YOURSELF ENOUGH
TIME, AT LEAST 30-MINUTES OF
PEACE AND QUIET TO THINK ABOUT
THESE BELIEFS AND TO REFLECT
HONESTLY.

Add a value to every statement; decide
to what percentage do you agree?
(100% totally agree, 0% totally
disagree) and at the end, add all of the
results and calculate the average
overall percentage of the statements.

After you have done this, read the


results explanation at the end of the
test.

Now, take your time, concentrate and


most importantly, BE HONEST WITH
YOURSELF. The test is only helpful if
you answer the questions honestly.

You don’t need to think in great detail


about the statements, just answer
quickly so you can be sure that the
questions are answered by your
subconscious mind, and not revised by
your logical thinking.

Chapter 4:
How to make a
change – now

Whether you think everything in your


life is bad, or you think everything is
good, you will subconsciously look for
confirmation of those thoughts and
your mind will believe it.

Let that sink in for a moment.

In sociology, they call this a self-


fulfilling prophecy.
Renowned sociologist Robert King
Merton has said:

‘The self-fulfilling prophecy is, in the


beginning, a false definition of the
situation evoking a new behavior which
makes the original false conception
come true.’

Thus, it has been proven that one can


greatly affect the course of one’s life
with their thoughts.

We are not talking about lying to
yourself and becoming delusional –
absolutely not!
We are talking about how positive
thoughts ultimately CREATE a better
life, because inside thoughts are the
original motivation for every action in
our lives.
Thoughts have energy, and they
possess a frequency that is far
stronger and more influential than you
think.
As the great Rhonda Byrne, the author
of “The Secret” nicely put it:

‘If you’re feeling good, then you’re


creating a future that’s on track
with your desires. If you’re feeling
bad, you’re creating a future that’s
off track with your desires. As you
go about your day, the law of
attraction is working in every
second. Everything we think and
feel is creating our future. If you’re
worried or in fear, then you’re
bringing more of that into your life
throughout the day. You are the
one who calls the law of attraction
into action, and you do it through
your thoughts.’

everything begins with your

them that do not serve you to live your
best life.
You should also be aware that you
have the POWER to change your
thoughts.

We call it the R-D-E Formula because
changing your life is a science that you
need to understand, and it will
undoubtedly work, just like any formula
that is applied correctly.

The first step of every change will
always be the realization that a
change is needed.
This means coming to the
realization that you are not
satisfied with the status quo, and
shining a light on the issue at hand.

Because this step is the hardest
