Surprise, AZ, March 21, 2018 --(PR.com)-- James M. Jevens of Surprise, Arizona has been recognized
as a Professional of the Year for 2018 by Strathmore's Who's Who Worldwide for his outstanding
contributions and achievements in the field of recruiting.
Born on May 9, 1938 in Portage, Wisconsin, James obtained a B.S. degree. He began his career in 1967
with 3M selling school and visual products. He remained with them through 1983, at which point he
joined Refirm ASA Limited as a Partner. In 1986 Mr. Jevens was hired as a Personnel Officer for the
Ventura County Sanitation District, operating sewer treatment plants and sanitary landfills. He served as a
Waste Management Project Manager of new business acquisitions through 1993. He then began his work
as a consultant in 1994.
Mr. Jevens was honored with the highest award in Lionism, the Arizona Lions International Melvin Jones
Fellow. He was Arizona Lion of the Year in 2007 from the Surprise Grand Lions. He was Board Member
of the Year in 2004 and Commerce Man of the Year in 1990 for the Camarillo Chamber of Commerce
and Honorary Don for Long Community Service to the City of Camarillo by the Camarillo Historical
Society in 2003. James was given the Bronze Keystone Award for 15 years of Board Service in 1990, as
well as numerous other awards by the National Boys and Girls Club.
In his retirement, James enjoys golf, reading, sports and is a Green Bay Packers fan.
